Up untill today, shoping at Target had always been fun. For years I have shoped there at least once a weak. My favorite thing to buy there is dog food but I always come home with more than that. Fifty to a hundred dollars, is the least that I end up buying every time. Today was going to be extra special because I went alone and that ment, going trough all the store without having to listen to my husband or son, telling me I needed to hurry up. Well, it didn't turn to be like that; maybe 45 minuts has gone by and I was already at the oposit end of the store where I began my shoping. I've already picked up shampoo, DOG FOOD, a cople of big bones for my labs and a small one also for a puppy lab. Laundry soap, barbeque utensils, a plastic box that I found useful for my AM make up kit. A window cleaner, a plastic bucket to replace the one that the cold weather broke. I was about to go and pay for my things, when I remember I also needed a multiple socket connector; wich I had already forgoten for the third time. So, there I am at the electronic department, I found what I needed and then began to look at every thing else that was there, going like every body else (at least thats what I thought), trough the isles. There I was, looking to a 100 ft cable thinking, "I bet this would help me to finaly accomplish moving my home computer from my the leaving room to a better place in the house", that was nine more dollars. When all of a suden I hear this voice asking me if "I was finding every thing ok?"; I immediately replied, "yes", and then turned and looked at the person asking. Then looked away, and a second after noticed something was not right. I'd always seen Target personel wearing a red shirt and cacky slaks. Mmmm. this man is waring all navy blue, so I look back, it was a store guard or some thing like it. Then I paid more attention, and saw this other person, with the Target uniform, they both where following me. Next I grabed my cart and slowly started walking again but this time, trying to find out what this two wanted. They kept looking at me from far, and then I figured; they were following me because I looked like a theaf?. Oh my God, this was so embarasing; I walked to check out cashiers now and got in line. Then I see one of them is in the front and the other in the back of the line, so I just asked; "do I realy look like I'm stilling something?", (I took a shower this morning like always, dressing casual with jeans and a sweter and tennis shoes, my hand bag, earings, my weadding rings. What is wrong with this picture?). So, I finaly asked the cashier to call the man following me and asked, "Is there something that you need to ask me, why are you folowing me? Do I look like I'm stilling something?" And moking me, with a big smile on his face he replies, "yes, that is what you look to be doing". So even more embarassed I say, "Do you want to search me?"; he said no, but he said that this was the STORE POLICY.
I'd like to know what part of that POLICY I broke, on what events did I look so suspicious?.
This is a real disappointment, it used to be fun going to Target, now I do not think it will ever be the same. I wonder, was it my mexican heritage?.

It think it should be known across US that target scanning I'd, I did not know and they scan my I'd before I could even blink my eye, I thought I gave them my I'd to show my age as in visual proof, talk about envading privacy, I will never ever go back to target. There should be a poll or something huge in the news. Let's do a mini poll how many people knew about scanning ID in target and if they agree with them?

I ordered a bathing suit from target.com. When it had not arrived 2 weeks later I wrote & asked if it had even been shipped. This was their reply

"I see that the swim short is listed on our website as "Arriving soon! Order now for shipment in 2 to 4 weeks, " it means that supplies are limited and there may be a lot of other guests interested in buying it too. That makes it hard to know when we'd be able to fill your order, but in most cases we'll ship it within four weeks of when you order. If it takes longer than that, we'll e-mail you to let you know and ask if you still want us to keep the order open."

So basically they are selling a product they don't have, & will ship it whenever they darn well feel like it. I canceled the order. And BTW, they sure as heck had already charged my card. I won't ever buy from that site again.

Target in Matthews has an idiotic return policy. Before Christmas, I bought my husband a $178 Norelco shaver. The guy checking me out has some issues getting the item to scan but the receipt clearly states Norelco and $178. This was not the shaver that my husband wanted so he took it to the store to try and get one that he did want. The shaver did not scan so they would not credit the shaver. They offered store credit in that department only. They did not carry the shaver that he wanted. They wanted us to take a credit of $178 for shampoo??? I was very disappointed, my husband was mad and we will be going to Wal-Mart from here on out. I guess Craigslisting the shaver is the only way to unload it.

I am really pissed off with Target.com. I ordered 3 items as gifts on 12/7 and were due to be delivered by 12/15 and never came. What made me so angry was that they debited my account on 12/7 and never shipped the itemsss.saying it is in transit. They gave me an UPS tracking number...but UPS said that they never got the package. This is an old shipping trick in order to get your money and hold onto it until they are ready to give it back to you. Retailers are not supposed to debit your account until the shipment has actually been shipped..it is against the law to do otherwise. When I called for a refund they kept telling me it was in transit but could not tell me where the package was. I told them I wanted a refund and no longer wanted the items. To make a long story short, they never put the refund in the first time and when I called a second time they finally processed the refund..which I will not receive until 10 days from their notice. Meanwhile they have held my money from 12/7 and I will not receive a refund until approx. January 3rd. This money was supposed to be for Xmas gifts. I will never, never order anything from Target.com again...they are the worse and everyone that you speak to in in India.
