Over Charged Again December 27, 2010
Target over charging
The last 2 times I was at Target I puchases things on sale. Both times I was charged the regular price and only caught the last over charge since I was watching the register. Is this their new scam since they got caught not giving full coupon price?
Everyone should watch the register and check their receipts to make sure you are getting the sale price. Not sure if I will shop there again!

Replacement warranty scam
I bought a 2 year "Replacement Warranty" when I purchased a Nintendo DS Lite for my grandson about a year ago. I bought the plan against my better judgement but I asked all of the right questions like what it covered, could I bring it to the store, etc...Anyway, so I take it to the store I bought it at and they give me the phone to call Nintendo, , , "WHAT"...of course they won't replace it they want me to send it in to them and they want to charge me $50 plus shipping because they are telling me without looking at it that there must have been physical damage to it (impressive I thought)...so I storm out of the Target and tell them I will never shop there again (and I won't) and I go home and call the Target Warranty center and this guy tells me that in the first year of the plan the item is actually covered by the Nintendo warranty but if I just wait a few days until the manufacture warranty is off I can call Target back and they will just send me a gift card in the amount of the purchase...which was of course BS as I just called them and they want me to shop it to Nintendo. What a joke! The replacement plan was 15% of the cost of the item and they want me to pay to have it fixed...What is replacement about that?

Being pushed back for 2 months
I ordered two games from target online on October 10th, 2010, it is now December 12, 2010. One of the games is out of stock now, even though it wasn't at the time of order. The other is in stock and they have yet to ship it. So every day I check the tracking packages feature so I can approve their stalling of delivery, but two months of waiting is ridiculous.

Defective purchase Ordeal
Showed up at 10pm thanksgiving day and camped out over night. Survived the morning stampede and lucked out to get a 40" Tv for $300 bucks. Just my luck... turns out it has a bad pixel. That sucks, but not as bad as the "guest relations" that doesn't give a shit. I can return it in the original packaging for my money back, or towards something similar for twice the price. Furthermore they refuse to order me a replacement for the sweet deal i camped out for. What really bothers me is their "we don't give a" fuck attitude. Not so much as an "I'm sorry to hear that" or anything else even remotely human. My girlfriend used to swear by target, but we will now be taking our business elsewhere thank you very much.

TARGET Has ZERO Customer Service Policies in the traditional sense. They will not take any responsibility for any product once they have your money, even if you have purchased some form of extended coverage. BE WARNED.

Upset customer
I travelled from Chatham, Ontario to Detroit at midnight Black Frday morning and stood in line outside at the Target store in the freezing cold waiting for over 4 hours for the store to open for their Black Friday specials. I was there to purchase a 40" Westinghouse LCD HDTV for $298. When the doors opened, everybody ran in like a bat outta hell straight for the Tv's. I have no problem waiting my turn but with all the pushing, grabbing, yelling and screaming, I did not get what I was patiently waiting for. My problem is, everyone that did get the Tv's were the ones in lne behind me. Most of them got there minutes before it opened. Target should have given the people that were waiting first outside in line tickets so they were guarenteed to get what they were waiting outside for instead of just opening up their doors and giving everybody a free for all. I am terrible disappointed and pretty pissed off at the way Target handled their Black Friday sale. Apparently, they really don't care about their loyal customers and not only did I not get what I drove 1 1/2 hrs for, I had to go elsewhere and spend double the price and woke up the next day with a terrible cold. I was 10th in line and it was 1 per person and they had 40 in stock. I'm hoping Target will read this and show some customer service and do something for me as I am an unsatisfied customer.

Not my bill
Sent my Target check in to pay the bill & a customer service rep called the next day & I told him I paid the bill. He asked for the check amount and number to credit my account & the payment was taken from my bank twice. To make bad matters worse I left the country the next day so when I went to pay my hotel bill in Trinidad the money was not in my account. So I had to barrow money to get back into the US. I got a refund months later and stopped using the card in 1998. Now I am receiving phone calls from a collections agency that says I have a bill for over $1, 000. My bill in the 1990's was never over $200 and I paid it in full by-monthly. This is not my bill and I have only been in Taget 4 or 5 times during the past 12 years because of the credit card problem before & I dont have a credit card. Now I have to go into a Target to resolve the problem. I hate Target credit management. They do not manage credit card accounts well but few companies do.

store policy
I tried to buy some cough syrup and was asked for my ID so they can swipe it and record my name and address. When I informed her that this cough sryup is not on the list that requires my information they said they know that but know want for all cold medicine. So now the other day I was with my husband and he tried to buy a a twelve pack of Bud Light and was asked for his ID.(he is 57 and is all gray) So he pulled out his ID and she wanted to swipe it and he would not let her. I called the target and asked what they are doing with the info for both items and they said they do not store the info. Why do they get to have my info on my licence when I am buying legal items and there is no law that says they have to swipe me drive licence. I no longer by these two items at Target.

Worker treated me like garbage
Brenda Stewart a target worker at the Pishga forest brevard store treated me like i was garbage when i asked a question about a product! This was not the first time this person treated me this way! She must have some kind of mental problems or a problem at home that she needs to be dealt with ! but thats the last time i go into any Walmart! Most store train the workers to treat people with respect but not this person she's just a mean ugly lady who thinks its a good idea to treat people like garbage! Kmart will get my money for now on

Refuse to honor sales price
Target had in-store advertising posting a $49.99 product (listed above: "Xbox Live 12-Month Halo Reach subscription card") on sale for $19.99. Attempted to purchase four of that item. They scanned as $49.99 individually at checkout. Escalated to Customer Service desk, who called Electronics salesperson. Salesperson flatly refused to honor the price of the product both described and PICTURED on Target corporate signage posted--by them--in their store. Complaints filed through state Attorney General and BBB, to which Target has not responded.
