On 8/6/07 I have purchased, 2.5 pounds of sauge at this store, it was right before they closed. Next day, I went to open the paper wrap and notices that the plastic that wraps the sausage is cracked all the way across the entire stick of sauge. I was interested to know what would cause it; usually if you cut the plastic you will surely cut through the sausage itself. But this time it looked like it just burst as it couldn't hold it anymore. I smelled it and it smelled funny, tasted and it tasted sour. Even my cats wouldn't want to eat it. It's not the fist time I've bought this type of sauge. But this time, I made a chose never to buy anything out of this store again. The candies that I bought on the same day were mixed also: some could taste very old some tasted fairly fresh. I just don't understand how these people wouldn't want to stand behind their product and its quality. What if I was poised by that sauge, who would be responsible?
