I ordered a digital camera for a great price through this company, and received an email to call a number and confirm the order, which appeared to be a security measure. When I called, hard upsell of items ensued, and when I hesitated and said to cancel the order until I had a chance to research further, kept dropping the price, which I foolishly believed was typical salesman trying to close the deal before I got off the phone. The charge was posted to my credit card immediately under The Camera Wiz (most reputable businesses do not post until the item ships) and a week later I still had not received the merchandise and started to feel uneasy. I researched Techon Digital and The Camera Wiz online, saw all of the horror stories, and immediately cancelled the charge to my credit card as well as my card. Companies who wait 4-8 wks to send you the merchandise are waiting for the charge to clear your credit company, making it difficult to dispute. This company is a scam with a long history. Lesson to me is to stick with reputable companies.
