Add my name to the list of unhappy consumers who was dumb enought to try TechSkills. I went to school exactly one day and had to withdraw due to a death in the family. I was repeatedly assured that the refunds were being made to Sallie Mae and the disbursements were cancelled. LIARS!! They never did any of that and I now have to get involved to stop the flow of cash from Sallie Mae to TechSkills before I am in over my head. I am willing to pay the deposit and be responsible for what I truly owe, but these scumbags are doing their best to keep the money coming from SLM and to get me on the hook for far more than a deposit. They outright lied and I have the e-mails to prove it. As some others have said, go to a local community college and earn your certs. I am going to do just that in the spring. Run from this palce and tell everyone you know to run as well.
