I sent in to Game stores my LCD tv for a quote for repairs. About a month later I was told to collect it and they quoted me R1500.00 for repairs. I told them that I would rather collect the tv as I did not have the immediate cash to pay for it. I was also told that I had to pay R138.00 when collecting the tv which I was prepared to pay. I waited for almost half an hour for the tv. Eventually the store manager approached me and said that they had no idea where the tv was and they had lost it. He promised however that as soon as they find it they would deliver it to me free of charge. After 4 months and several calls made to the store, they still have no idea where the tv is. I was told by one of the one the managers, that they had actually sent the tv for a quote to another place to get a cheaper price. After all of this the tv is still in their possession and no-one knows exactly where it is. I have not been contacted by them again, and has decided to lodge a complaint against the store. This brach is at Cape Gate.
Please help me sort this out for me as I am getting nowhere.
