this report is in regards to my mortgage broker terry christo who refuses to provide the 1 year fixed term which is clearly stated on the mortgage documents i signed . with 3 straight intrest rate rises i contacted terry to change my current variable rate . he advised me that the 1 year term was no longer available and that my only option was to lock in at a higher rate for 3 to 5 years . this is totaly unacceptable with further rate rises on the way and unlikley to go down any time soon and the rate was much higher than many other lenders . as such i demanded the 1 year term that was clearly stated on my mortgage contract but to no avail he quoted their legal rights to withdraw the 1 year term at their discretion despite advertising new loans with a 1 year fixed term . stay away from this crook there are much more reputable mortgage brokers who will not scam you .
