My credit card was charged $159.99 for some auto club that I never signed up for. I called them and they said I cashed some check, which is false. I don't know how they got my credit card number, but plan to call them back today when I have time to demand answers. They said it would take a month (!!!) to put the money back on my credit card. Told them they had 10 days. From what I understand, these people will say anything and then not do whatever it is they promised.
Next I will complain to my state Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau. Am thinking I should cancel credit card and take my lumps because from what I hear, these people are ruthless.
