This is a complaint about Toner Pirates. I purchased two laser cartridges for my HP Laserjet 2420. They were not usable, as they had no chips on them, which is required by the hardware in the printer. When I went back to the website to contact them, the contact link took me right out of the website.

They deliberately made a bogus product and provided no way of contacting them. I will never, never buy recycled laser cartridges after this experience. I bought some from Associated Supply in California as well, and theirs printed in grey tones instead of black. I contacted the company and they sent two more. They, too, printed in a grayish tone instead of black. I will not use any more of these fly-by-night discount outfits for laser cartridges. It cost me almost as much as a new printer and way more than the vendor's product.
