Contract for a legal service. Signed contract for fee of $200.00 plus postage. She was given $200.00 cash and she signed a receipt saying she received the cash. Service was not done. Ms. Roberts did not check dates and I told her the first time I talked to her the date I had filed this service before. She did not check this out. She refused to ever show me that any work was ever done on this matter. She also has refused to return my fee of $200.00. This was in March of 2009. Ms. Roberts has also refused to return my personal legal documents, and I have asked her many times over the 8 months she's had them. For 8 months I have asked her to return my documents and return my fee. She has refused these requests as well as showing me the work she says she'd completed. She's was incompetent for not checking the date the very first day before anything else happened. She advertises as someone who can help out with legal matters, so she should have the resources to find out the law. Then to keep my money and documents, well, that's just plain wrong and very dishonest especially for someone who works with legal matters. Do not trust this woman!!
