Don't ever buy a toshiba anything. I purchased a toshiba laptop that was defective right out of the box. It has a screen that goes black whenever it wants to for no apparent reason. I tried to get it fixed 3 times over the phone with tech support, each time having to reinstall my data and software, which did not solve the problem.

Than I had it sent to their repair depot and the laptop, the only machine I have for use, was not available to me for a week. But yet it was not fixed. I had to call them back the day I received it from their repair depot complaining about the same problem. Off-course, no one could care less that the machine was not fixed. And now they want me to send it back.

I will be out of work for another week thanks to the lemon they manufactured and cannot stand behind.

If you read this article never make the mistake of buying a Toshiba no matter how good a deal it may seem. I gave up a Sony of the same price just for a bit of memory that I am paying for now.
