Yesterday (1-29-2010) while parking my car at the Maryland Metro station 5 storied parking garage I realized I could not control unwanted acceleration of my 2007 RAV4 SUV Toyota Car in the parking garrage.I bumped into the parking garage wall at a high speed, the air bag popped up, front bumper completely damaged and all over smoke came out. I suffered a whiplash and went to Doctor for the advice, it was very close to disaster. I started enquiring about the incident until today, Toyota will not acknowledge the problem they say we are recalling only 2009 and 2010 RAV 4 SUV. We had this problem of unwanted acceleration 2-3 times while braking at the stop light, the local dealer will simply test drive and will not fix the problem. I contacted the Toyota Customer Experience Center at 1-800-331-4331. They are reluctant to help.
