I opened up my AT&T bill for my home phone and found charges from Transaction Clearing, LLC for $29.90. I was being billed for March and April, at $14.95 a month for "MIDWAVE PRODUCTS-EMAIL SVC MTH FEE". What??? When I called the number provided, I was prompted to either reset the password or cancel my "toll-free voice mail". I have NO idea who this company is and have never spoken to anyone from there or authorized any transactions, much less voice mail! I've called the number provided twice, sat on hold for 20 minutes, only to be disconnected immediately after the automated voice tells me I'm next in line for service. When I googled the company I found a VERY phony looking website along with a TON of links to complaints about this company making unauthorized charges for a variety of phone services. I'm going to try their direct line in Texas tomorrow and see if I can get an actual person, but I'm not hopeful based on what I have read...
