A representative, Wanda Dreher, claiming to be from Transtech Merchant Group called me and told me that my current credit card processing machine is not PCI compliant and must be replaced with a new machine that is PCI compliant. Over several calls, she convinced me that I have to replace the machine. What I ended up however, is just a new pin pad and a Non-cancellable Lease from Lease Finane Group LCC with CPP for 5 years.

I have been with Transtech for over 5 years without a lease agreement because I purchased my machine. Now I have a new pin pad and a lease agreement that I cannot cancel for the next 5 years.

My view of Transtech was neutral even though their statements where hard to verify because the amount settled for the day was never exactly the same as is on the statement, but monthy total is close, yet not quite right to the single digit dollar.

Now, I am started to develope a distaste for Transtech because a representative tricked me into leasing a pin pad for the next five years.
