this company just sent me a bill saying i owe 1740.10 to them for magazines. which i never ordered or recived. and when i called the billing number it said if you want to make a call hang up and call again.

They called me up after 2 years, said that they had my account on hold and that they wanted me to pay them $39.95/month for next 30 months. If I didn't want to pay, my credit would be affected. I told them I hadn't received magazines from them due to my several moves in the last 3 years, they said they could extend the subscriptions for me for that reason. I explained that I didn't want magazines, I was even willing to send them to the person on the phone, she told me best approach was to have them sent to a non-profit organization for tax write off.
