A salesman came to my elderly mother's house, got her to order magazines for $48.00, then must have convinced her to leave the room for a minute and stole a blank check from the back of her checkbook. That check was written out for $196.00 and her signature was forged. The check cleared the bank; the bank officials agreed that the check was forged. The police have been contacted as has the Better Business Bureau. Of course, my calls to UFC have not been returned.
