I recently purchased two pairs of Ugg boots from an internet website, which i was encouraged to believe was the official Ugg website selling original Ugg boots. I went onto google, typed in Ugg ustralia (aware that this is the official title of the genuine Ugg retailers, ) an option of Ugg australia sale came onto the screen and then advertised the link to the website as 'Genuine Ugg Australia sale UK'. I entered the website which looked original and trustworthy and which advertised the Uggs as '100% sheepskin and original Ugg boots.' Impressed with the sales and convinced that they were original i purchased 2 pairs, however when they arrived at my address i could not have been more dissapointed. Sent in 'ugg australia' polythene bags with Ugg Australia tags on the goods, the boots are fake. They are not as they were advertised on the website. I own a pair of original uggs previously purchased from the high street store 'schuh' and from comparing the fake and the genuine uggs, it is clear that those i am complaining about have poor stitching, non genuine sheepskin or suede, the pair of chocolate uggs are two different shades of brown, stains on the suede, and they are generally bad qualitly. I aim to return these goods and have a full refund. After this experience i will be extremely wary of shopping online.
