This company's online motto states that it was allegedly founded on the principles of unwavering honesty and respect. That is far from the truth! This company is filled with incompetent, unprofessional, dishonest brokers and employees. They falsely advertise their abilities, and provide the clients with fake promises that they can never keep. They don't follow up with customers, they don't return calls, they don't open escrow, they don't lock on the promised interest rates, and they lie about all of it. Complaints were filed against them with the Department of real estate, and I would highly warn every consumer to stay away from them. They might lure you with the refinance free cost, but once you get in their trap, expect the worse ride of your life. Use a reputable outfit for refinancing, the free cost gig is not worth the grand headache that you will have if you refinance with United Capital. If you decide to go with them, expect to be stranded for several months waiting for their call until you find out that your escrow was never opened, your promised interest was never locked or expired, and you will be left alone standing in the cold. This is a shady company and consumers are forewarned about it. Check them out first before you embark on a refinancing disaster.
