United Magazine Service, Inc. called me, and wanted to sell me 3 years of a magazine for a really good deal, and they wanted me to give them my credit card number over the phone.

Since they called me, I told them to send me an invoice, and I would mail them a check. (How am I supposed to know if they are legit or not?)

After I got the invoice, I looked them up on the Better Business Bureau, and they have an unsatisfactory record, with 84 complaints in the last year and a half or so.

I will not be giving them my money, and if your are thinking about it, do some research first!

I also read some stories online from others who had negative experiences, so I am writing this to try to be helpful to others, as they were to me.
