Avoid them
I have had shipments from a National Products Business delivered to my house by UPS every other week for quite some time now. Last week I received a telephone notice that they could not locate my house. My house is in a rural town, but it is on the main road, w/o one tree blocking the view. My mailbox w/4inch numbers is directly beside my driveway. I called and a woman told me that there was no reason the driver should not have delivered my package and she would set it up for today. Today I got another phone call telling me the same. I spoke with a man this time and he told me that it must be a new driver and I would have to pick the package up. If the "new" driver can't read a green road sign and numbers on a mailbox and doesn't have sense to use a map device, he's too stupid to work for anyone, much less UPS. I still have to travel 30+mi to pick up my package or it will be sent back. Hows that for service??? I wonder what will happen to my future deliveries???

seasonal help
my husband was supposedly hired on to work this Christmas season helping the ups drivers. what a joke!!!
he was in the very first group that was trained - then, he was not called for 3 weeks. when they did call, it was very sporadic and he was limited to the number of hours they would let him work. the driver would get a text telling him to have my husband stop working. he worked for 5 different drivers - EVERY SINGLE ONE of them praised his work and said he did a fantastic job.today, dec. 21st - the busiest day of service for ups, they decided to do "safety checks" - meaning they sent out some sniveling weasels to go around and see if everyone was wearing their seatbelts. first of all - my husband was delivering in the business district - so it was one delivery every 8-10 feet. secondly, not one driver ever told him he was required to wear the seatbelt in those cases. some creep saw him - and called the management people and they fired him immediately. the driver was furious - saying the company heaped all of these extra deliveries on them but then did stuff like this.
i will NEVER agaijn use ups for anything - i am appalled that they treated my husband like this - it is bad enough that he got laid off months ago from the hotel business - this was absolutely ridiculous!!!

Lies, lies, lies
UPS has lied about two delivery attempts they never made, and then sent the item back to the sender AFTER I have called customer service to ask why a second attempt was never made, and specifically requested for delivery the next day!

Never do business with this company
I recently sold an item on an on-line auction and pre-paid the UPS shipping label. It was supposed to be a 3-day delivery, but after two weeks I was notified that the package had never arrivbed. Upon checking the tracking number, I found that the package had never left the UPS Store that I had dropped the package off at. Upon calling both UPS and the UPS Store to inquire about the package, I was constantly passed on to several different and very rude who denied ever having recived the package for shipping. I took all my recipts to the store where I left the package and they still denied that I had ever dropped it off or paid for the shippng, even though I had all my recipts including the one from Patpal. Four days later the package showed up on my front lawn, crushed and with half the shipping label missing. No explanation has been forthcoming from UPS of where the package has been for the past month or what happened to it, except that it looks like it was run over then just tossed out a window into my front yard. I will never do business with this company again.

Awful delivery service
"Service" is a misnomer in this title. 4 precious tickets to "The Lion King" need to get from SC to NY asap. So, you go to the nearest UPS store and pay almost $30 to overnight them (Oh, and you have to pay an extra $3+ if you want your package "signed for".) For this princely sum, your recipient finally secures the tickets (mailed Thursday afternoon on the following Monday evening) in the nick of curtain time after endless tracking phone calls and online adventures by going to the UPS office. If it hadn't been for a very helpful Barbara at the Mount Vernon, NY UPS, we would truly have been lost. We used to call UPS "ups". Then they called themselves the regretable "brown". Why don't we just call them "Oops" from now on?

Delivery Practices
I had a remote repaired when they shipped it back ups left it no one has been able to figure out where.
The email said they left it at the front door. My building is secured so if they really delivered it anybody could take it.
This is the second time in 3-4 months this has happened.
140 dollars i don't have to replace it.
To leave a package out where anyone can get it dosent seem like good judgement.
Do i have any recourse?

OVERCHARGED OF ADDT'L FEES!
UPS IS TRYING TO OVERCHARGE US ALL THE TIME FOR "OVERSIZE BOXES"" THIS TIME IS FOR $4.69

THIS IS A FRAUD BECAUSE WE HAVE SAME SIZE BOX AND MEASURE IT ALL THE TIME HOWEVER THE OVERCHARGE FROM UPS IS PERSISTANCE AND REALLY ANNOYING! HOW MANY MILLION OF CUSTOMER ARE GETTING THOSE SMALL FEES A WEEK!!

Shipping
A little over a year ago I was shipped a package that contained a fairly valuable art print. Upon arrival the item was damaged. It had a busted frame, shattered glass, and minor scratches to the print itself. I took the necessary steps to file an insurance claim on the damaged print but have never been reimbursed and I will detail the order of events below:

1.) Item was taken to a UPS store by the seller of the item.
2.) Item was packaged by the UPS store.
3.) Item was shipped and arrived damaged at my residence.
4.) Insurance claim was filed and upon filing, UPS stated that they would need to send a driver by in order to pick up the damaged package. I refused to allow them to pick it up for fear that I would never see the item again (as has happened to me on a previous incident). They stated that I could take digital photos and email them in if I followed the instructions exactly as requested.
5.) I followed the instructions exactly as requested and a week later UPS is sending a follow up email stating that the photos were never sent. I send them again!
6.) After the photos are received, this is the point in which I stop receiving communication from UPS. I request a status of the claim by email, website, and certified email of which I never receive a response to any of the three.
7.) A small claims suit is filed against UPS!
8.) UPS fails to respond to the summons until 88 days after it is filed at which time I receive a defense letter one week prior to the hearing.
9.) UPS has an attorney contact me 7 days prior to the court hearing and offers a settlement for UPS to repair the print.
10.) I refuse the settlement offer!

UPS argues that they were not given the proper 30 days to respond to the summons and instead given 20 days. It took them 88 DAYS! They also argue that they do not fall under the court's jurisdiction since they are a foreign corporation (out of state). The answer is yes they do and if they did not then there was no need to answer the summons in 88 days or ever for that matter! This case has been recessed for "further review", hence the lack of more specific details at the moment... more to come.

They will fight you until you give up, or wear you down hoping that you will go away! Do not buy insurance, never insure anything. It only benefits them. UPS (Unite Parcel Service) insurance is fraud and a scam!

Shady business
UPS left no notice of their visit for attempted delivery. The only way I knew was they tried to call via my condo foyer phone which goes to my cell phone. The next day they aborted delivery even though I was home because I called to give an alternate address in case they missed me. What shabby service. I will now always ask a potential seller how they will ship before I purchase. I will never use UPS again.

Arrogant and unprofessional bastards
I am SICK of hanging around all morning, waiting for a delivery, and then the guy comes and DOESN'T KNOCK loud, AS I'VE REPEATEDLY REQUESTED, and NEVER EVER EVER frickin' WAITS for me to answer!

I don't hear 100% and I am also physically disabled. I have repeatedly posted notices asking these jerks to knock loud and WAIT a decent length of time for me to answer--they NEVER DO. How is it, I can hear everyone else knock on everyone else's door--include the neighbour's door, and I can hear strangers knocking on my door, looking for someone...but NEVER the stinking UPS Guy??

And there is NO CONTACT person available at UPS. I am going to have to go to my disability advocate, and see if I can take legal action against UPS. I'm FED UP.

DO NOT use UPS if you are DISABLED! They are arrogant unprofessional BASTARDS.
