My son went to the dental clinic at UT Knoxville with an abscessed tooth. Having limited funds, he thought that was the best place to go.The infection was so severe it busted his eardrum. They acted like they were going to help him, they took 1 (ONE) x-ray, charged him $150.00 (all the cash he had) Then told him they couldn't do anything else. They had promised they were going to pull two teeth. This is disgraceful behavior from a school based agency that takes a pledge to help people. Shame on you University of Tennessee. If my son gets sick from lack of medical care I may pursue legal options. $150.00 for one x-ray? This has me sick.
