UPS delivered 2 Packages to my home and they sat out in the pouring rain with no protection. The merchandise is totally unusable. How can I get my money back for these items?

Paid for Next Day air could have paid for ground
I paid next day air through my bussiness for a crucial package to arrive next day by noon...needless to say it arrived at the same time the ground package I sent the day before did!!! AND TO THINK THEY ONLY CHARGED ME AN EXTRA $$$$$30.00!!! and the reason for this was it was raining...REALLY RAIN??????? a hurricane yes, but rain?????????????????????? BE SURE YOU ONLY USE FED-EX IF YOU NEED SOMETHING TO BE THERE ON TIME!!! cause if it is raining you are screwed with UPS and they will not refund your money, due to weather delays...I bet it was not raining anywhere my package even went it is UPS way of not delivering and not making extra money!!!

Damaged package, missing items
I have complained twice to ups with regards to a damaged package delivered to me from an e-bay company. Package severely damaged, parts missing. I was told that I would be contacted by a ups representative to assess the damage. This has taken place over the last two weeks. I am still waiting for the person or persons who supposedly will assess the damage. I cannot believe that a company as large as ups would tolerate this type of behavior. It may be time for the powers that be to look at themselves and what their reaction would be to this type of treatment.

Avoid them
I sent a friend's brand new iPod to him and he received an envelope that had been cut open, sans iPod.

UPS "investigative team" came and picked up the envelope for investigation. That was a week ago and we haven't heard from them since. It was a $300 item mistakenly insured for $250.

So now we have to enter the UPS phone menu jungle to try and get some of his money back. It's gonna be a long couple of weeks.

This is the second time this has happened to him. Last time, they took a laptop. If your time and packages are valuable to you, do yourself a favor and avoid UPS.

I'll never use them again
I will never again use UPS. I was supposed to receive a package last week and it didn't arrive I called to find out where the package was and found out the driver said the package had the wrong street and I confirmed the street and it was 100% correct. There was no ERROR! This was on Friday and UPS stated they were sorry and that I would receive the package on Tuesday. I waited around all day on Tuesday and still no package. I called them and I was told it was now a lost package and that they couldn't find it. Then after talking to two different supervisors I finally was told oh wait I have it right here in front of me. There was no explanation on why I didn't receive the package and to top that off I was told SIR if it really is that important why don't you just come here and pick it up. I then asked to talk to the complaint department and was told UPS doesn't have one.

This will be the last time I use UPS.

CLAIMS CHECK
MY luggage was shipped on 07/08/08 from UPS store #3532 scheduled to arrive on 07/10/08. However, first my luggage was lost then when it was found it was so serverly damaged, it looked like it had been hit by a train. An investigation ws started on 07/11/08, according to your own information all claims should be resolved in eight
( 8 ) business days .According to UPS and your store a check was issued and supposedly sent to me on 08/15/08 True to form it has NOT arrived.When I contact UPS I am informed that I must deal with the because now they no longer handle this problem. I must deal with the store

Shipping delayed
UPS services really sucks, they never deliver on time, i once used UPS to ship Laptop to canada i specifically asked then if it will get there within four days, they said it would... but a month later the package was still on transit, i then asked them to return the package and refund my money... it took another month to get it back, and they got nerve to send me an invoice for return shipping... i have called all the customer services that i could possibly get, but nothing has been done, and customer service people are so rude, they keep promises they never keep... and they keep sending me the invoice to pay the return charges ... I will never use UPS... ever again, in my life and i urged people ot to use their services!! I will advice one to use USPS or other services but not UPS.

Wrong delivery of packet
I waited the whole day for delivery but got nothing. At night, when I went out, I found a tip at the door, I began to know that UPS deliver my packet to the wrong apartment. It was Friday, so I had to wait for the delivery until the next Monday!

Weak service
(WED.) Got a sticky on my door... missed the Brown Boy, while Working... So, I called UPS Central and was told, " We Will MAke 2 more attempts, then hold the packages for 5 days."... Can they deliver it when i am home? NO... We can deliver it to your workplace. Cool!!... oh, Wait No WE Cant!... I'll pick it up Sat? NO- not weekends... I Figure take my chances on the next 2 deliveries, if not, make the hard-core drive, through after-work-San Diego-Traffic to the one UPS DEPOT, in the heart of my favorite town Kerney Mesa...

(Thurs. Fri)... Missed Both Deliveries... of course... Now i have 5 days to pick it up... I choose Tues. because, I'm not sure if they count weekends... With their shoddy service, i wouldn't doubt it...

Tues. Bustass to Kerney Mesa...Arrive... Sign In???... Ok... Hand the Lady My 3 UPS stickies...
UPS GRUNT AT Depot " Oh, it says on rout" Hmmm. (Sounded rehearsed)
MY reply (trying to stay calm) .. " I was told i had 5 days to pick it up here"
TOOL UPS LADY.. "OH, he didn't know"
Me..."Are you serious...He didn't know, is the best reply you can give me??"
"WELL THEN WHO DOES??"
UPS TOOL- "I'm sorry you will have to call the dealer you purchased it from".
ME- "SO... Because, one of your highly trained customer service employees (REALLY, THE ONLY ONE IM RELYING ON) "doesn't know"... and botched the delivery... Now i need to rectify the situation on my own?)

Canceled 250$ order and vowed never to use Brown...
