If you live in the Cleveland area and are considering attending a college or university, please stay away from Ursuline! Ursuline claims to be founded and run on traditional Catholic values, and many of the staff, including the president are actually Ursuline nuns. I figured this would mean that these people might actually care more about their students' success than making money, but I was wrong. If you incur a financial hardship while attending, good luck; they will throw you to the wolves before they will even consider working out a payment plan. The school is ridiculously overpriced even though many of the professors aren't fit to teach at a community college. The pre-law department is headed by a former attorney who was disbarred for unethical legal practices. Real values this school has. They make you take all these "ursuline studies" courses that are non-transferable credits if you choose to attend a different school because they know you are more likely to stay rather than be out all that time and money. Just everything about this school makes my stomach turn. I guess the fact that they let your GPA drop to 1.0 before they kick you out should have tipped me off that this place is more a money making institution than a college that cares about reputation and quality education.
