I was on an U.S airways plane on July 23, 2010. My plane was a transferring plane from Dallas(DFW) to Washington D.C(DCA) all the way to New York(LGA). My airplane number was us 3336 to washington and us 2170 to New York. The flight attendant told me that they could not fit in anymore luggages on board so they made a couple of other people and i to give them our luggages to check in. So i asked them where i can find my luggage and they told me that it'll be at my final destination. After boarding in New York, I could not find my luggage and they told me that my luggage was at DCA and did not fly it to LGA. The U.S airway office at the airport told me that if I gave my contact info to them, they would deliver my luggage by that night . After waiting that night, i called the office and asked where my luggage was, and they told me that it was my fault to leave the luggage at the airport and that i had to go to the airport the next day to pick it up. I was frustrated and thought it was an unfair way to treat customers. This was a situation i have never gone through and I am not sure what to do. I hope that no one else has to go through this unfair treatment while riding U.S airways again.
