recurring charges not credited to account
I found the usagrant.org website which stated they offered key grant information services. In order to log onto the website and receive access, your cc was charged $24.95. I didn't find it useful and tried to cancel my account online. There wasn't an option. Only a contact address. This became a monthly recurring charge. So I notified my credit card company. Since then, I had received multiple calls from scam companies acting as an alias to USA Grants trying to get you to "buy" their services. Assuming, when they said they represented USA Grants, I told them to discontinue my monthly service and take me off their phone list. Three times they said they would cancel my account. When I noticed another $24.95 charge in September I contacted USA Grants again. They said they would deactivate my account. When I noticed another charge in October, I left another message via voicemail on 10/26 asking to be removed from their services. I contacted them again on October 28th to get the actual supervisior of customer service and he said they could only credit my account for the current month because he had no other notes that I had contacted their office. I asked to speak to his supervisor, and he said he was the only one to talk to. I said, well who signs your paycheck? He said HR and they wouldn't have any idea what to do. So I was told I would have to contact the address on the website. I asked him what the address was...he said he didn't know. I was appalled!!! What a scam!
