We received a postcard in the mail telling us we would receive a four night/five day cruise and a hundred dollar gas voucher if we agreed to go to an appointment a.nd listen to a sixty to ninety minute sales pitch about a travel club. We were promised there would not be high pressure. After a lot of high pressure and my husband and I continually saying 'no', we were given a raincheck in writing. It states to call the office if we do not receive our gift of the cruise within two weeks. Our appointment was today, June 5th, so I have no idea if we will actually receive the gift or if this raincheck is worthless. We were given a claim number over the phone and were promised that we would recieve our gift at our appointment and that our claim number was our proof. We were never asked for the claim number at the appointment. We were one of the couples in the first appointment time at 11 A.M. on Saturday. I was told on the phone that we had a choice of three different times, with 11 A.M. being the first appointment. They, of course, knew how many people they had coming for promised cruise gifts on Saturday.
