unauthorized bank withdrawal
I TOO HAD AN UNAUTHORIZED WITHDRAWAL FROM MY CHECKING ACCOUNT OF $19.95. THE BANK GAVE ME A # TO CALL AND I TALKED TO GABRIELLE #152518 AND SAID IT WAS MY MEMBERSHIP WHICH I NEVER JOINED. SHE SAID THIS WAS A COMPANY WITH PEOPLE LOOKUP, PEOPLE SEARCH. THE AMOUNT IS SUPPOSED TO BE CREDITED BACK, BUT I DUOPT THAT WILL HAPPEN. I HAVE PUT A SECURITY ALERT ON THEM AT ME BANK.

Fraudulent Charge
A charge of $19.95 appeared on my credit card. It had a 1-888 number associated with it so I called and they don't sound like they are an up-and-up company. They said they would credit the account -- in the meantime I filed a dispute form with my credit card company.

fraudelent charges
just checked my account and saw 19.95 charge on my account by value max. I have never heard of the company so I google them and found this website of the complaints against them. as soon as they open up I will be contacting them. I hav e sent them an email as well demanding that they remove the charges and I will contact my bank. I will file a police report, contact better business bureau and I will contact the attorney general. I never give out my banking information so they will have hell to pay for this.

fraudulent withdrawal
I too was charged 19.95 for a membership to Value Max which I never enrolled. When I called the # my bank sent me I spoke with a Value Max rep named Sandra ID 700039. I asked her what Valuemax was and stated that I did not enroll on dec 27th. I also asked her how they obtained my credit card # she did not reply and said that they would credit my account within two days. I am also going to dispute the charge with my bank, we'll see what happens.

$19.95
I was charged $19.95 on my checking account for a service that a never asked for.So I called the number that my bank gave me 1-888-205-2257 it for a company named value max, they said that they where sorry and that it was going to be credit to my bamk account, so far its been a week I still havent got that credit.If you also been charged your not alone.

Fortunately, I looked back through my account, and found that I had been charged $19.95 for July, August, September, October, November as well as December! So I called them back - "Sorry, " she said, "we can't refund any prior charges. You enrolled yada yada ya . . ." You have to argue with them. Finally, she agreed to refund all of the charges within 2 business days. Don't give in.

fraudulant charge
Interesting, on 12/24 (when many are doing last minute shopping and might not notice an extra charge to the credit card) I was charged $19.95 - by Value Max! When I called, they offered to cancel the "membership" and refund the money. "I have no membership, " I said, "and this charge is fraudulant." How many people do they brazenly scam out of that $19.95, and how often? Thanks for the advice - I'm contacting my state officials and the Better Business Bureau.

Unauthorized Withdrawal
Looks like an ongoing scam - I also had 19.95 withdrawn from account. I am contacting Senator Dodd, D CT to investigate as well as contacting state Attorney General. They picked the wrong person to screw with.

Fradulently billed
This company has charged my credit card for services never rendered. They have now charged my card twice. I have tried to contact them and have been unsuccessful in resolving this issue. I have filed a dispute with my bank.
