Bogus website for $25 gift certificate
Beware of ordering books, vitamins, etc, from T.V. infomercials. On the end of your call, you will get an offer for a "free trial" to Value Plus that is supposed to came with a free $25 gift certificate just for trying the service. [The same scam goes for her sister company, "Explore USA".] You will be sent a fake internet address to get the forms to send for your "free $25 gift certificate -which you will never get. Worse yet, you will get charged for a monthly fee [for the bogus service] on your credit card bill. Cancelling may not be effective to get them to stop charging your bill. A real nightmare...

Unauthorized charge 14.95 on my credit card!

Unauthorized charges on credit cards
I am being charged $14.95 by a company called Value Plus and the same amount by a company called Essentials for Home which are apparently both owned by Damark. I do not know what these charges are for or how to stop them other than through my credit card company. I think this is just fraud and wonder if anybody out there knows any other ways to stop these thieves?

Didn't get $40.00 rebate in gas
They called me up and promised me all kinds of discounts and savings and I would get a coupon for $40.00 just for trying them. I didn't get any offers or the gas rebate.

Non-existing web site
I was sent 30 day trial membership that included $25.00 gift card for trying, today I attempted to cancel but could not contact at # listed 1-800-475-1942 also could not connect to web site to claim $25.00 gift card. something is very wrong! Called later in the day and made connection thru # 1-800-475-1942 and was told my credit card had not yet been charged and I was still in trial period. Attempted this eve to log on website but no such web site listed ???? I will cancel this [ membership]
fri- 10-20-06 if it takes all day.

Said free gas card did not deliver and kept charging my account
Gass card for 40.00 just call and activate it...Well no place to activate it at and then they keep taking money out of my account and I want it stopped...Total of 14.95 each month....It is a scam and they need to be put out of business...They said it was a Visa credit card offer but they did not get my account number from me....I did not order this and do not want this.
