I love(d) Verilux lamps until today. I own many Verilux lamps because I felt the company had integrity. Verilux advertises: "Verilux lamps are built for a lifetime" Yesterday, one of my lamps became inoperative and I contacted Customer Service where I received no satisfaction. This morning, I was contacted by "David" who initially refused to give me his surname. This man finally admitted that he was David Tauscher, Vice President of Operations. I explained that since Verilux advertises that "Verilux lamps are built for a lifetime" and mine stopped working yesterday, I would like a replacement. Mr. Tauscher advised me that Verilux only adheres to their warranty policy which claims no lifetime guarantee. So, in my opinion, Verilux lures customers in with a "built to last for a lifetime" guarantee and then refuses to adhere to it. I will not be purchasing from this company again.
