In the last three weeks, I have been phoned a total of 9 times. On two occasions (week 2 and 3), I was phoned twice within one hour. A recording claims "I have a call for you" followed by a pause ; then a telemarketer tries to sell Verizon products.
In week one, one marketer was so rude and disgusting claiming she was delibertly being agitated by me. All I asked her to do was take me off the calling list as I am registered in PA for no calls. That occurred in week one--three calls in three days-- and so I called Verizon customer complaints.
Two weeks have passed and I have had the calls continue--two last week within one hour of each other and two yesterday within one hour of each other.
Then I called Customer Complaints again and was told that within 2 business days I would receive no more solicitations either via phone or mail from Verizon. The representative with whom I spoke last week never told me I would be notified via phone that my complaint had been registered as had the rep. with whom I spoke yesterday. Incidentally, I never was.notified from the complaint I made two weeks ago.
Moreover, the rudeness which I experienced in the first week from the telemarketer makes me wonder if Verizon is calling or if someone else is. However, the first call which I did respond to in Week 1 indicated the person was selling Verizon products.
