Bad service
Verizon is charging me $124.41 for a phone call I made while I had service with Blue Casa. I had international service with Blue Casa when I made a 30-minute phone call to Mexico. They have sent me to collection because I refuse to pay for a service I did not receive from them.

Did you know that by just upgrading your FIOS internet speed restarts a new contract
Did you know that by just upgrading your FIOS internet speed RESTARTS a new contract. The VIOS rep may fail to tell you that. Just a simple upgrade in your internet speed restarts another year contract. THE REP NEVER TOLD ME THIS... WHAT A RIP OFF. I only found that this out when I was planning to drop FIOS service, deceptive practice. The sneaky service rep offered to let me out of the contract if I agreed to a $175.00 early termination fee.

Keep lying and we will convince even more customer out of your network
I used to be an user of verizon wireless, so did my husband and lots of other friends. Besides very bad customer service, they are big liars. Once we saw those commercial on TV, showing the coverage of ATT, which is a lie, we could not stand anymore and canceled our contract with Verizon wireless. Just to check, I moved first and signed up with AT&T, and I am loving it. Great customer service, much better coverage (I could not even get signal with verizon in my work place in Manhattan). I ended up convincing everyone around me to change to AT&T. We are all happy now. Keep lying and we will convince even more customer out of your network.

Do not make my mistake, the customer service is terrible, get a different provider
I recently upgraded my cell phone from Verizon . Within 4 months, the screen stopped working. The phone is clearly under warranty and I have been trying to get it replaced for the past week.

These are my complaints:

1) They sold me a lemon phone
2) I am not the person whose name is on the account and needed to get that person to call and approve. When I got that person to call, they did not tell that person that the approval was only for 24 hours, that they could add other users to the account or that there was an account password
3) When I called back, I was told the authorization had expired, and that I needed a password - something they had not mentioned to the official user
4) After getting authorization again, I was told my phone was not under warranty anymore because we had switched the account user name when we bought the phone
5) After calling back again, it was determined that the phone actually was under warranty, but needed a manager's approval which would take 1-2 days
6) The result is that my phone has been broken for a week. I am a polite and reasonable person, but out of the 5 representatives I personally spoke with, 3 were extremely rude and treated me noticeably less politely when they understood that my name was not on the account.

I would switch my service provider if I could, but I am locked into a 2 year contract. Do not make my mistake, the customer service is terrible, get a different provider!

No refund
I initiated service with Verizon 7/27/09. That day, I was asked to pay a 125.00 deposit, which I did. It was understood that I would get that back when/if I terminated service. My service started on 8/3/09. I terminated service on 2/1/10. To date, I am STILL waiting on my deposit. I have made at least 12 calls to customer service. I have had 2 live chat conversations and STILL, I have yet to receive my money. No one can tell me why.. At least 3 reps have stated it would be sent- ('I'll make sure it's processed and sent today!'). I won't go away until I get my money.

They have hidden charges in a fine print
Switched to Verizon to "save money"... Salesman said I could cancel in 30 days, no early termination fee. Wasn't happy with the picture quality ( we have a home theater projector) and the technician couldnt get it hooked up with HD. When I called in to cancel, the CS kept telling me I couldn't cancel for another 4 days because I had an order with Cablevision. When I called back 4 days later to cancel, they told me there would be an early termination fee of $200.00. and that the policy was in fact 15 days. Buyer Beware, it's all in fine print. Would never touch anything Verizon ever again... Verizon is the MCI of the 21st century.

Unauthorized services billed and they haven't fixed it
We have been Verizon customers for the last 3 years, and up until 6 months ago, we were pleased. Our last 6 bills have had unauthorized fees for seervices we did not order. When we call Verizon they transfer us to the 3rd party company, who tells us they will stop billing and refund us the money. yet each month, we keep finding the fees on our bill that range from $8-30each time. And we have yet to see our refund. they now currently owe us $130! My husband calls and calls and calls. He asks for addresses, phone numbers, supervisors, and just keeps getting told the same thing every time...We are about to move and when we do, we are not going to continue with Verizon for service. And i am still going after my refund.

package deal
Verizon is the worst ever. I have everything through verizon tv, land phone, cell phone, Dsl. First off I have the blckberry storm which is junk I have went through four of them tw0 I paid full retail for. I have complianed numorous times and they still wont do any thing except give the exact same phone. Next the tv they charged me for a bunch of channels I did not want nor receive. Then told me I had to deal with direct tv when the contract was through them. And still never got my money back. next is the dsl so freakin slow I was paying for 7gig and im not even getting one. So now I have hughes net witch is awsome. When i finaly convenced them to send out a tech they guy never showed up took a day off from work just to be their and was a no show. So im done with verizon Really bad customer service they are no better than a thief.

Don't believe in advertised price
Signed up for the triple play bundle package with Verizon. Was promised a price of $99.99 a month.

My first bill (including taxes) was $274.83, my second bill was $132.61 (including taxes).

They tacked on all sorts of installation and activation fees the sales rep did not disclose to me when signing up. Yes, I even asked and I was told there were none.
