Other day I went to Video Ezy Manukau, Auckland to grab some movies. It was my first visit to the store as I generally borrowed movies from a local store. I got myself a membership and the guy in store told me that the movies need to be returned on time. That's all he said. I grabbed myself a new release movie, made the transaction, got no receipt in return and left. Two days later, I received a call from the store asking for the movie. When I went to the store, I explained to the other guy, probably the so-called manager, that I never got the receipt and was not informed when it is required back. The guy was so f***in rude. He started shouting at me and my gf. When I explained to him that the fault is from his side, he told us that he gets many 'customers' like us everyday who want to steal the movies. When I told him that is this the customer service you provide, he said that it is due to customer service only that he gave us a 'courtsey' call. He even went to the extent of saying that he will inform baycops for those $16 and will suspend my membership. I left the card at his shop, went back 2 hours later and paid him the money. He had a sly smile on his face when he was processing the transaction. The name of the manager is "Bipin Patel". If I was a white or pakeha, he would never dare to say so much. Well, my first encounter with Video Ezy turns out to be the last one. Thanks for the customer service Video Ezy.
