I bought a 26" LCD Tv on black Friday of 2007. I followed the instructions and sent in for the rebate. I received a letter back stating that I did not mail in a copy of the invoice. I called Viewsonic and asked them if they were going to honor the rebate due to it being mailed after the original cut off for the postmark. They said yes. I mailed in another copy of the invoice. I JUST checked on the status of the rebate today and found out that after researching my account, they discovered that they received my original paperwork 3 days late, on Dec 26, 2007. I told her I did not think that was correct and I requested copies of the postmark. She said they have the original envelope and everything I mailed to them but said they do not send copies to anyone. I asked her how I dispute this. She said I could not.

I WILL NOT PURCHASE FROM VIEWSONIC!!!

I think this is a scam they are pulling and getting away with it since they don't have to provide anything to the consumer!
