Return Denied
Today I went to Walmart to pick up a pack of dvd-r. It was a Memorex 50pk 4.7 gig. Got home and tried burning a new dvd (just got a new laptop) but was quickly rejected with a message saying the file was too big for the dvd. I had no idea that an actual movie couldn't fit on a 4.7 gig dvd (in high quality.)
So I go back and ask the guy if I can still return my item seeing as how it was after midnight. He said yes and directed me to checkstand 18. I waited there for honestly about 10 mins. Doesn't seem like a lot of time except the man in front of me was buying 1 single phone card honest to god and the pez dispenser standing behind the till couldn't figure out scan card, swipe card, collect money. Time passes and I finally get my turn to get destroyed so I stepped up and the first thing the guy did was call for help from the electronics department. I wait about a minute or so and here comes the fat guy that directed me toward checkstand 18. Mike. He stepped behind the counter and said we cannot accept these because they are treated like computer software and once they are opened, they cannot be returned. I guess he just wanted to see me stand in line for 10 minutes knowing I wouldn't succeed.

Service
Went to cash check at walmart, they shorted me money I couldn't get my money until the next day they had to count all their draws to make sure that they did in deed mess up. They shorted us a few hundred dollars, I had to make a late payment on my truck because they held my money for 24hrs, then they never appoligized and the employees who "helped" us were scolding us for the mistake and never once appoligized for the error. They made everything out to be our fault, the lady who counted the money counted so fast we watched her while we were waiting by the counter for them to decide what was going on, she counted her money so fast me with good eye sight couldn't keep up with her and they wanted to scold my husband who requires glasses that he couldn't keep up with her??? What if it was a blind man in there what would be their excuss then?? That he couldn't tell by the weight of the bills or keep up by listening?? We used to spend a lot of time and money at Walmart but the customer service is very poor at walmart now adays they don't care about the customer as much as they used to when Sam was alive, the prices are sky high I find better deals else where, they pull to many cons on their sales exspecially black friday where they get one or two products for the big sale then those are gone before the sale even starts!!! I will not shop at Walmart any longer and will boycott them with anyone else who will stand against them, they are a monopoly and should be shut down. NEVER SHOPT AT WALMART IN MOBERLY, MO very poor service, we really need a target or K mart to open up here, thank god hyvee is opening up next door. Maybe they will help shut down walmart.

Tires
I brought 4 tire a while back from a Walmart in another town started having issues with them and took in to the Corinth, Ms. store to just buy new tires. The lady at the desk said let them check them for warrinty for the issues .The issues I told them is that I think that one or two had belts broke in them. They came back and said I had two rims that were warped and sent me on me way. Just was not convinced that what it was .So I took it to the Walmart in New Albany, Ms. and told them the same as I told the store in Corinth, Ms. They checked them and came back and said all four have broken belts in them they had to be replaced that it was dangerous to drive a possible blow out could happen. I don't like that the store in Corinth, Ms. put me and my family in dangerous situation . Just wanted them replaced at my cost they are the ones that wanted to check for warrinty . I want to thank the store in New Albany, Ms for stepping up and doing the right thing . Not only replacing the tire but taking me and my family out of harms way. BAIT AND SWITCH AT CHECKOUT
The DISCOUNTED PRICE TAGS on the Merchandise differ from the prices at CHECK OUT!
My elderly parents were at WALMART in Rosemead, CA on Friday, December 30, 2010. They paid $17-99 for a pair pants that had a $15.99 price tag, and $3 for a towel with a $2 dollar price tag.
They were told the Prices as shown at Check Out Registers were the correct prices because Walmart did not have time to change the Price Tags on their Merchandise.

I PAIDED MY BILL AND IT WAS PLACED ON MY PASS BILL AND NOT THE CORRECT STATEMENT AND I TRIED TO CALL IN TO FIX THIS PROBLEM. I WAS NOT HELPED IN THIS MATTER INSTEAD I WAS SPOKEN TO SARCASTICALLY INSTEAD OF BEING HELPED WITH THIS MATTER. False Information/Took our money
IF YOU VALUE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY, AND MOST PEOPLE DO, DO NOT BUY FROM WALMART ONLINE!!! PLEASE TAKE A LESSON LEARNED THE HARD WAY FROM US, AND READ THIS TALE OF TOTAL BULLS**T ON WALMART'S BEHALF. THEY ARE SLIMEBALLS WITH TERRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICES, AND YOU SHOULD ONLY USE THEIR ONLINE STORE IF YOU WANT TO RISK HAVING YOUR FUNDS TIED UP FOR TEN DAYS FOR NO REASON!!! READ BELOW:
WE PURCHASED A 42" VIZIO LED TV FROM THIS SITE. THE REASON WE DID THIS IS BECAUSE, DESPITE WHAT THEIR WEBSITE SAID, THE IN-STORE AND ONLINE PRICES DID NOT MATCH, AND THE STORE WOULD NOT HONOR THE ONLINE PRICE. SHOULD HAVE SEEN THAT AS A RED FLAG. IT WAS $50 CHEAPER TO PURCHASE IT ONLINE, EVEN IF YOU PICKED IT UP AT THE STORE.
WE CALLED THE PICKUP LOCATION PRIOR TO ORDERING JUST TO MAKE SURE IT WAS IN STOCK, WHICH IT WAS.
WE WERE SUPPOSED TO RECEIVE A CONFIRMATION EMAIL THE NEXT MORNING BY 10 AM. INSTEAD, WE RECEIVED AN EMAIL INFORMING US THAT OUR ORDER HAD BEEN CANCELLED (DUE TO LACK OF SUPPLY- AS I SAID EARLIER, IT WAS VERIFIED AS BEING "IN STOCK" BY A REAL PERSON AT THE PICKUP LOCATION)-
...THE BEST PART (OR WORST, DEPENDING ON HOW YOU LOOK AT IT)... IS THAT EVEN THOUGH THEY SUPPOSEDLY DID NOT EVEN BILL OUR ACCOUNT, THEY PUT A TEN DAY HOLD ON OUR FUNDS!!! THE CUSTOMER SERVICE PERSON ON THE PHONE WAS UNHELPFUL AND RUDE, AND WOULD NOT GIVE US HIS NAME TO REPORT HIM TO HIS SUPERVISOR.

customer mistreatment
I was shopping in the Flora Illinois Walmart @ 8 pm Thursday December 24, Christmas eve.
I had been in the store shopping approximately 30 minutes. I had about $50.00 worth of merchandise in my cart, and was headed to the checkout.
Over the P.A. the announcement was made that the store would be closing in 5 minutes.
Although this seemed like short notice, I had completed all my shopping and was approaching the checkout anyway.
After less than 2 minutes had passed, a store employee approached me saying "you have to check out now, we are closing." I informed the employee that i was going to the check out. Another employee accosted me, rudely stating, "you have to check out now, we are closing."
As I moved within 50 feet of the check out I was again told by another employee, that I must check out immediately. Another shopper behind me was also rudely harassed in a like manner.
When I was within 20 feet of the check out I was again approached, and very rudely told "you have to check out now, we are closing." By this time I had been accosted rudely by 6 employees within a 3 minute period while going to the checkout.
Finally, I had been mistreated enough and told the store employee that they could keep their merchandise.
At the door was the store Manager Eric. I complained nicely to him, and was told, that they had families that they needed to get to. He rudely kept repeating "merry Christmas sir."
It is understandable that the store would close for Christmas eve early. It would be ok to make a 15 or 30 minute closing announcement, but this didn't happen. Myself and other customers met outside and all related having been treated rudely and without respect.
I have joined a local and nationwide boycott of Walmart, and advise others to also. Eighty percent of Walmart's stock comes from China and costs American jobs. If you want to help America's economic restoration... don't shop at Walmart... let them be rude, and keep their inferior junk!

Price Scanning
Walmart Grocery Department used to be a good place to shop. Their prices were lower than other large chain stores and they carried a larger assortment of products, NOT NOW. Other than their prices increasing they no longer carry small packages of anything and the assortment of brands is now down to two or three choices So, I am including WalMart shopping tips that all their customers should start using NOW!
Wal Mart Tips!
Pay attention to shelf pricing especially if it is an "on sale" item. Do not let the cashier start scanning items until you have unloaded your basket since in most large grocery stores you cannot watch the scanned prices from the basket unloading position. You will be surprised at the number of items that have not been updated in their system to reflect the sale price. Wal Mart has a policy that they will meet any other stores' published prices. So, you go through all your weekly sale papers from other markets and make a list of the items you need and take it to Wal Mart. When an item scans at a higher price bring it to the cashier's attention and they will reduce their price. You will get the item at the sale price without having to drive all over town. Wal Mart also has a policy that if an item scans the wrong price you get the item free if it is under $3.00 or a $3.00 refund for items over $3.00. One catch to this one - If you notify the cashier at the time of checkout they will void the wrong amount and then charge the correct price. You need to finish checkout then take your receipt to Customer Service, show them the item or items that scanned incorrectly and then they will honor the policy. This may seem a little much but I usually save from $3.00 to as much as $12.00 per visit.
