Unpleasant experience
I was shopping in Wall-mart in Viera Florida. I went there to purchase a folding table. The folding tables were on the lower shelf on top of a plastic place mat that had been taped down to the metal shelf with clear plastic tape in an effort to keep them from slipping.
The guardrail that goes across the front of the shelf that is suppose to stop items from sliding of the shelf was installed wrong. The table slide off the shelf knocking this guardrail off and hit my toe breaking it and cutting it open. Even worse I was wearing flip flops. 3 store mangers came with 2 employees with a first aid kit and paper towels to clean the blood off the floor. I filled out a report before leaving the store in a electrical shopping cart because I was unable to walk from all the pain.
I went to the doctors office and paid for all the medical expenses out of pocket and contacted a lawyer. Wal-marts lawyers response to this accident was."There is no way that this injury could have happened like that." "he must have dropped the table on his toe"
Needless to say the lawyer drop the case and I did not even get the medical bills paid for by America's leading retailer. Thanks alot Sam!!!

CLOSED FOR THANKSGIVING
I went to your store to buy some pop. I would have went earlier however I am a registered nurse and I work ten hours a day. When I went to your store it was closed. I know that thanksgiving is a holiday, there was a manager in the store he went outside to smoke. She told me that the store was closed for thanksgiving. I told him I needed to buy some supplies for my thankgiving party. He told me that the registers were not open and there was only a skeleton staff to set up the store for Christmas. He refused to allow me in the store. I told him that I am a registered nurse and make 90k a year and spend a lot of money in the store. He said he could not let me shop and the store was closed.
I don't know why he let did not let me in. To top it off none of the workers were black or Jewish. This just shows that they are enjoying their paid holiday without being thankful for it. We all know how these people like to complain about discrimation and are unthankful against anything.
I think that I should have my gas money back for wasting my time to go there, a $25 gift card and the money replaced to get my soft drinks form a more expensive store. Money is not an issue, (as I am a registred nurse and make twice as much as that rude manager) however it is thr principal and lack of customer service.
In fact if that rude manager had not went outside to smoke I would have been waiting until tomorrow morning just to find out the store was closed. I am sure if people were not lazy blacks and jews who don't celebrate thanksgiving would be willing to work, however those people are too lazy to work and expect to get money for nothing.(if they are part of the store at all since most blacks jews, and hispanics are on walfare and refuse to get a job and make us pay for their walfare.

wrong merchandise in the box
I bough LOreal Feria hair color at Walmart, opened started coloring and then realised that half of the products inside the box is from different brand called De La Ritz (cost is $0.99 on the web). Instead of coloring my hair Deep Burgundy Brown I ended up coloring it Light Brown. Same day I took it back to the store and manager told me to contact Loreal and even suggested that I did it myself and trying to get money from them. Never shopping at Walmart again!!!

Site to Store Pick Up
This Valley Steam store is the worst. The wait time to check out is at least 20 minutes. Today, I went to the service counter to uplift three small items which were ordered on-line. The associate was unbelievable rude. She was unpleasant and unprofessional. She was obviously annoyed that I opted to examine the items. She refused to bag the items because I had placed them into my cart and bluntly said “I would have bagged them, but you put them in the cart. Now you will put them in a bag."
Can you imagine these words from someone in a customer service position? Don't these people realize that customers are the reason they are employed and earning a salary? Instead, this associate saw me as an inconvenience.

Refused to help disabled
I was shopping in Walmart in Cromwell, Ct about Nov. 11.
I am disabled, can not lift more then 10lbs due to multiple surgeries. I had managed to drag a 21lb bag and a 21lb container of litter across the shelf then let it drop into my carriage, (locating an employee takes 15 minutes or longer).
I went to the checkout, told the HEAD cashier I am diabled, can not lift these items and could she please find someone to help.
She said there's no one in the store to help me so I asked if I should just leave these items here and drive 10miles back on another day???
She said the "doorman" maybe able to help if I drive my car to the doors.
The "doorman" explained he had to "guard the doors" (I highly doubt terrorists were seeking out this specific store at that moment).
So, I slowly walked to my car shaking my head in amazement... see there was about 45 cars in the parking lot. I held my breathe, lifted the plastic container and let is drop into my car. I grabbed the bag, pulled it up to the top of the carriage and dropped it into my car.
Then the bag SPLIT open and FRESH STEP litter was everywhere. As I was driving away I thought... gee if only i had a camera to video all these cars sitting in the lot - then remembered I did! I cruised the lot and video taped all the cars parked, I also got a shot of several employees standing just inside the door watching me!
I've been to others stores where a manager or the store owner will help if no one is available - THAT'S CUSTOMER SERVICE and taking an issue like a disability with respect.
I WILL be contacting the store manager, district manager and headquarters.
I'm glad I found this site!
Reply to this post if you would like to see the video, I can try and send it to you.

Heartless company
Ive worked for this company for almost 8yrs, and the slogan for Walmart is a family company that it helps its associates WRONG!!! We had a couple who worked at this store #0268 for many years and was loved by everyone there including myself. The lady died several months ago and us the associates did a benefit for her husband to help out with the expenses. We all donated stuff and money for a auction the other places in the community did the same, but the place they worked for named walmart refused to do anything for this couple which to me is a shame considering the years they put in and the money they made for this company. Her husband was so happy and felt loved by all of us except walmart. After her death there was days the man didnt have money for lunch because he was broke trying to pay for the funeral his house and other important bills so people would carry him out or bring food to his house. We brought this manner to the managers and they did nothing of course. Well he died monday night suddenly of a heartattack we are all heart broken about this, so we asked if we could put a table up at the front with his picture and just stuff like that we also offerd to pay for it, mine you they done this for a manager a couple of years ago. Well of course they said no even though we said we the associates would pay for it. So that is why Im writing this because Im angry that the company I work for and many others can give a damn about us even though there slogan is a family place to work. Well WRONG!! Im keeping my name and the couples annonymous for the sake of anyone including myself getting in trouble and even terminated. Please if this upsets you or you know someone they have done this to also please call home office on this store remeber Savannah, TN store #0268 telephone #7319253020 Thank You to all .. Have a blessed day..

Take a Stand
November 7, 2009
Demand 10-20% back...I have started demanding 10-20% back when I return things, depending on the price of the item and the severity of the issue.
Tired of bringing things back all the time because they break easily, inferior products, missing parts, clothes shrink 2 sizes (and they're washed properly), loose elastic waitsbands on tights, knobs breaking off dehumidifiers, screws not threaded on grills (only to find out after it's ALL PUT TOGETHER AND ON VACATION), Bristles falling out of their best brushes when painting, caulking not adhering properly, Bolts missing from chairs bought there, etc., etc., etc.
I know I sound like a whine bag, but seriously, I'm not. I am tired of having to bring things back over and over again. I live 17 miles from a Walmart and unfortunately they're the only game in town since they've driven all our Mom & Pop businesses out of Business.
I have started demanding 10-20% back when I return things, depending on the price of the item and the severity of the issue. Sometimes I get it, sometimes I don't.
The point is that if we all start taking a stand - demanding that they provide better products (like made in America which is what the premise was when it all started) and taking responsibility for the crap they sell.
If it happened once in a while, I would say no big deal, but over and over I have to return items all the time to Walmart, Lowes and Home Depot.
My statement comes down to this "TAKE A STAND"AND START DEMANDING THEY RESPECT THEIR PATRONS BY PAYING US FOR THE HASSLES WE GO THROUGH EVERY TIME WE HAVE TO TRAVEL TO BRING SOMETHING BACK. If we all stick together and make them realize that we've had enough of their inferior products just to make huge profits, then we may get somewhere.
