Awful place to work in
I worked at the buffalo walmart in minnesota for about two months. My manager always had me doing all of her work after i was done with mine. Then she went to her manager, who i found out she was sleeping with and took all credit for what i have done. Well after her manager talked to me about "not doing my job" i was pissed so i went to the bathroom splashed my face with some water and took a breather. My manager had come in a couple min later and started yelling at me saying he (her manager) will never believe me then spit in my face!! I wanted to punch her lights out!! But i didn't, i got so pissed off i threw up on her shoes. now i am sewing. They don't only treat customers like crap they treat employees bad to. Unless u sleep with them i guess.

Scam and cheating
I returned chicken breast because of bug in package. Was charged again. Would like credit without having to keep going back to store. Also would like answer ASAP. The replacement package was not marked so checkout didn't know it was a replacement. The store is changing things so it makes it much harder to shop especially for older people. Since this is not the first time I have had to make an extra trip back to the store I would like to find another way for getting the credit for this shopping trip. And I am unhappy about this.

out of stock prescription
my mom just had surgery and needed her prescription for pain medication. she called every pharmacy in nj of walmarts and they were all out of this medication! how can that be possible?? if you own a business and are supporting and participating in healthcare they should always be in stock! my mom is now in pain and cannot move! she is very upset! she now has to fill her prescription elsewhere and now has to pay $155.00. thats ridiculous. also every employee in walmart is inconsiderate, unhelpful, and never seem to know what they are doing! no offense but half of the people working there can barely walk, speak, or see, let alone work! hire people capable of the job or close all walmarts please! its a discrace! everytime i ask for help in any walmart.. i wind up having to get it myself cuz noone knows what they are doing! i never knew walmarts were run by senior citizens, or handicapp people!! u give jobs to people who cant even spell their own name! pathetic! someone look into this please.

To Whom It May Concern:
I was an employee at the Walmart store located at 6210 Annapolis Road Landover Hills, MD 20784 (301) 773-7848. As of September 20, 2008, I had been employed there for a total of fourteen and a half months.
The reason I am writing this letter is because I believe that the disrespectful behavior of staff toward employees and customers should be investigated. The store manager, Emmanuel Gilliam speaks to his staff in such a disrespectful way that shocked me to the core. I couldn’t believe it. As I searched the internet in an attempt to locate the Walmart corporate information, I stumbled on many online reports of how Walmart had treated some of their former managers, employees and customers. Just recently I was terminated from Walmart by Manager, Andrea Lloyd just for asking a question during a meeting. After that I was assaulted by two employees right in front of her while she stood and did nothing. I have contacted The Global Ethics Helpline at 1-800-WM-ETHIC who are in the process of launching an investigation against her as well as the store for the following: ETHICS POLICY VIOLATION. EMPLOYEE ASSAULT, HARASSMENT, PERSONAL INJURY DURING THE ASSAULT, WRONGFUL TERMINATION AND CIVIL RIGHTS VIOLATIONS. There are many other employees there who are afraid to speak up for themselves for fear of retaliation by Miss Lloyd as well as other higher ups.
I ask that you please let our surrounding communities know the type of mean spirited individuals who are disrespecting our children, sisters, mothers, brothers and fathers. Their claim is to help family and community, but they have done more harm than good. The only thing they've been doing is stealing money from the people in these communites. Former Manager Larry Winick stole large sums of money from this same Walmart store and was never prosecuted for his crime. Now every other local Walmart store has received bonuses except for the one in Landover Hills. We don't know why because the employees are afraid to ask in fear of retaliation. I believe that enough is enough.
When it comes to Walmart, customer service has now become a mythical entity.

Checkout service
The over head announement stated that the check out service in the back of the store, in automotive had 30min, then 20min, and so me and my children headed back there to checkout. We got there i time and had maybe 15 min. left before they closed the checkout, so we rolled up to the belt and the clerk looked at us, put a closed sign up and walked away, and she was kept looking at us the whole time she walked away, giving us a look that appeared to say"The hell I'm coming back to check you out, I'm leaving". I thought this was very disrepectful and rude. She needs customer service training and to keep stay at her check out desk until the whole time is up, not close down early. So we had to go all the way back to the front of the store and check out, then go all the way back there, because we parked out back. This happened Saterday, September 18, 2008. My recept says 6:41pm.

Terrible experience
Coming from an adult gamer i take spending my money as an opportunity not a gamble. I frequently spend money in the crane games at local Wal-marts and grocery stores. So, upon entering Wal-mart today i drop my 50 cents into the came position the crane above the toy i wanted. Aiming carefully i push the button. The crane doesn't drop BUT closes the claw and moves it back over the the hole my toy should of dropped out of. I should have known there was something wrong seeing the limited amount of toys in the game but with the store knowing something was wrong with the game.
Instead of emptying it completely they use a select few furry creatures to lure you to the game. There should be something done!

Scam and cheating
There is a member of this site who goes by the name Trevor. The site is called complaintsboard. He claims to work at wal-mart. Let me tell you a few things about this employee. He is overly rude when defending the company. I have commented on several letters written on complaintsboard. "Oreo cookie and banana split oreo cookies" and "Wal-mart told me to wait for my parents." Trevor came on those letters (not written by me) and was starting to be rude for me. I don't know what store he works at. I really think you should fire him if you find what store he works at because he makes the company look bad with his rude answers towards me. He is harassing me constantly and sticking up idiots. In fact this moron is even siding with customers to go against what I have to say.
If you are reading this get an IP trace on him and fire his a$$. I have proof of him harassing me. Just look at the letters on these forums titled "Wal-mart told me to wait for my parents" and "Oreo Cookies and Banana Split Oreo cookies."" for the proof.
Trevor if you are reading this letter(and I know you are because you come on here periodically to see what we have to say about your company) get the f**k off this site you moron. I hope you get sodomized and fired. F**k you.

Terrible experience
I bought a portable dvd play from walmart less than a year ago and since it hasn't reached the expiration date on the warranty I tried to take it back to exchange it for another one and was told that there was nothing they could do for me and that I was just stuck with it so now I am out of a dvd player and out of the money I spent on it and a upset 5 year old daughter who cant watch movies while in the I have never been so mad at companies in my life I go to walmart because they have great prices I also in trust that they stand behind the products that they sell because they value their costumers I want answers and I want action to be taken so that other consumers do not have to be taken advantage of because it isn't right...

banned from Walmart
I am very angry at Walmart . I was in ur Walmart store here in Rocky Mount Va on June 29 2007 @9;30 P.M. and there was a clothes hanger laying on the floor and i didn't see it and i slipped up on it and fell, busted the back of my head and busted up my left arm and shoulder. Walmart said they had to take me to the hospital and they would pay the bills . Well I had to go thru several drs and Walmart told me they would pay my medical bills but come to find out as of today they still haven't been paid. The dr put me on pain medication and i was on pain medication which I am still on and the dr dropped the dosage and I started getting side affects to it and i called and told her but she never did anything about it and I went into your Rocky Mount Va Walmart store on December 3 2007 and was doing some shopping. I was going to buy a Nascar coat and I was looking at the tag and accidently tore it off by mistake so I decided I didn;t want the coat so I went and put it back on the shelf and then I decided to go back and get it and when i went to pick it up I forgot to get the tag and when I got to the counter to pay for my merchandise I forgot to put the coat up there and the girl that checked me out didn't say anything about the coat and I forgot to pay for it and when I went out the door the buzzer went off and here comes the lost prevention people and they told me I would have to come with them and they called the law. I told the law i was on medication and i just forgot the coat was hanging across the buggy, the girl at the register should have asked me about the coat.Now I am banned from Walmart and they told me I couldn't come back there no more. I was on medication at that time and the side affects was confusion. By the way Walmart didn't pay nothing on my fall after they said they would have to pay the bill and as of today Walmart hasn't paid a dime on it. I called Walmart Claims and they said they didn't have a file on me but they sent me 4 of my bills back to me and i called them back and they said that was all they had and i told them they had some more and they argued me they didn;t have any but a week later they sent me all of them.Now i am a law abiding citizen and i haven't done anything like that before in my life and the dr even told me it was the medication.I am asking u to reason with the Walmrt in Rocky Mount Va and get them to let me come back in there because i do have a lawyer working on this for me and if u don't won't to get sued over again you can let me come back into Walmrt again.I am telling u it was the medication. Awful place
WalMart has been in my city for some time. In the middle of last year, I noticed a change in the attitudes of the staff that work at this store. Staff are now incredibly rude and will ignore people for large amounts of time, even if they are obviously waiting for help. Many times when I go into this store, the cashiers don't even pay attention to you as they are serving you. Many times they will continue to talk to their friends. As a result, I feel frustrated and very angry. Several times, I have gone into the store to purchase items. What is listed on the rack has been inaccurate several times. The associates refused to give the item to me for the listed price. And, when I told them the price on the rack, they always call back to see if I am lying. This is fine, but, six out of the seven times this has happened, the people checking the price claim that they do not see the price that I had stated. When I go back to look at the rack and find the price, I have no problem seeing it. These people are incredibly deceptive.
In addition, in the overnight hours, the aisles are often completely packed with boxes waiting to be unloaded. Once the people are done with a box, they throw it wherever they want. They don't even bother to move the boxes so people can get down aisles. I've even been sworn at by several associates.
I've sent numerous complaints to walmart via the web site and snail mail. I have yet to get back a single response. Do not do business with this store if you can help it. They have no sense of courtesy and even the manager will ignore you.
