Deceptive Music Download
I purchased and downloaded an album from walmart.com which turned out to be new versions of 70's song by the original artists but not the actual recordings that we all know. I told them about their mistake and asked for a refund. I was told all sales were final. Since the album description did not mention the new versions of classic recording I'm sure any court would classify it as fraud. I sure do and while I like buying music frim walmart, their obvious lack of regard for customers and the law have ended all store or online buying for me.

SELLING OUT AMERICA
99.5% of what Walmart sells is madein China, by young men and women who live in barracks and work 12-14 hours a day for a pathetic paycheck. A documentary entitled WAL MART:The High Cost of Low Price, opened my eyes to how this company is earning OBSCENE profits!!! Sam Walton's widow and children have estates that amounto $8.4 BILLION (not a misprint) yes,
I said BILLION dollars. That amount is Per person, NOT
collective.
China is benefiting from the stupidity of the American
consumer, with WalMart as the middle man who is
more than happy to lure us in with their "Rollback Price" ads. Before you buy that next useless trinket, ask yourself if you need it. Keep the money in your own pocket - I think the Walton family has enough, don't you?

customer service
My wife, two children and i went into the altoona walmart to spend a little income tax money, ...well alot of income tax money. we went to the electronics department and looked at a very nice toshiba satelite. Went to the customer service desk and asked for help. The silly man came over with some sort of gun, scanned the product we wanted and just walked away, ...no "ill be right back" or even "ill get a manager to help you in a minute" he just walked off...I realize walmart hires "less fortunate" folks but when they are in a customer service environment, at least train them to do customer service...anyway...my wife and two children wait in the small aisle for 10 mins...finally the less patient of the two of us, myself...walks up to the silly man and asked if we can get the laptop and go...he says "you need a manager and i dont know how long its gonna be, you just need to wait here". After feeling the blood rush to my head, and knowing the man is "less fortunate", I kindly ask him if we can shop around in a different area while we wait and you can call for us over the intercom..."im not allowed to use that, you'll just have too wait in the aisle" So we do, waiting and waiting for a half an hour with a 6 year old and a 3 year old, who by this time are getting EXTREMELY impatient, FINALLY "less fortunate" comes back and unlocks the case himself...???... and takes it to the desk for us to pay.

my "beef" is if im gonna spend close to 600 dollars in this department...dont you want to treat me a little better?
If it werent for my wife wanting that exact laptop, we would have taken our business elsewhere.

Rude employees
On 2-15-11a at830pm my daughter approached photo employee to recive baby articles sent from Marion OHIO.That emploee told her she needed her I.D. she went to get it from her car at 8:40 vanessa (daughter) returned to photo where that employer told her she could not help her because she left at 9:00. she would have to go to electronics where that employee told her she was the only one there and she would have to call someone to help her.Someone came after appox.10min.they then helped her but it took them 35min. to find her merchandise. This is unbelievable and she was treated so rude. She is pregnant and was very upset about this treatment. She and myself are very concerned because that is where she has her baby registry. Is this how her family and friends will be treated while they shop for Vanessa and her shower gifts? I hope this will be rectified we all shop Walmart alot but that could stop.

Broke glass frame with switched lenses
Here is a copy of my letter dated August 2, 2010, that I sent to Walmart Home Office. I have yet to receive an response, not even an apology.

I have recently visited Vision Care to have my eyes examine and to order new lenses for my eye glasses. Everything leading up to and including my eye examination with Marcus Meadows was professional. Everything thereafter was just sloppy, but not until I picked up my glasses Friday July 30, did I realized the scope of the sloppiness.

The associate broke my eye glass frames while trying to replace the old lenses with the new ones. My $275 frames were no longer useable. Both the store manager and the associate knew the importance of these glasses to me. I had purchased the frames in Germany. I was disappointed and shocked when the store manager came out to tell me that my glasses had been broken while trying to take out the right lens of my glasses. The store manager gave me damaged frames with an apologize and refund for the lenses of $189.

In addition, the Office Manager stated that “this is why we don’t like to put new lenses in frames that a customer brings in.” However, both the manager and associate initially assured me that Vision Care could put new lenses in my old frames. Had either one warned me of the possibility of damaging my glasses, then I would have not moved ahead in purchasing new lenses for my eye glass frame.

I returned to another optometrist where I had purchased my original frames. I called Vision Care and requested faxing my prescription to this optometrist store which was done. When the optometrist examined my glasses, she discovered that my the lenses in the broken frames had been reversed. That is, my right lens, the stronger one, was placed in the left eye glass frame and the right in the opposite one. I recalled mentioning to the associate after she took out the lenses for measuring that something was different about my glasses and continued to think so for nearly a week while awaiting my new lenses. She assured me that they were the same lenses. She didn’t even check. The associate had mistakenly reverse them (left lens for the right eye; the right lens for the left eye). This is clearly demonstrating a lack of skill and carelessness on her part and partly explains why she broke my frames.

I’m angry about my broken frames, imported from Germany-- but my sense is that this could have been prevented had the associate been a little more careful had she return the lenses to their correct side. Then my frame breakage would not have happened.

To date I have not received a response from either the local store or from Walmart Home Office.

Water Injected in to meat products
Hello
I think your Pork / Beef - Chicken has to much water added to it.
Your lower price on products are offset by weight of water added. Looks like bait and switch to me. Selling water for .20 cent's an ounce's is a great idea (For Walmart) $25 per gallon approximately $3 per pound. Motor Oil in your automotive department is only about .10 cents per ounce. Your low price are not so low when you factor in water added and its not noted on the label. I look forward to your reply Thank you Glen

Website
What the heck wal-mart? I got my tax return card and I was going to go on your website and buy a bunch of stuff, but guess what? I can't even get to your website without filling out some stupid survey and participate in some other additional offers, and giving you all my personal information - i never did get to the actual web site no matter how much I tried to skip it - I don't want to enter a survey for our 1000 dollar card and coupons, I just wanted to get my stuff - but you lose - I'm very angry and I'm going to take my business somewhere else - permanently.
