My experiance is that I originally opened my WAMU acct in 06 with a 0% for 6 mos. then a 8.5% rate...I was accidentally late once I believe in that 1st year which bumped it to 9.5%...and since have been paying double the req. payments (about 2 1/2 yrs now?) to try to get my balance down a bit quicker. Back in march when Wamu converted to Chase...I was paying my april online payment and the site said it would be "down for a few days" so I made a "double" payment (only chase did not process it as such) so they said I "missed" my scheduled may payment...NEXT thing I know I get a bill with a $39. late fee and apr raised to 29.9% ($85. finance chg)...I spoke to numerous people and finally was assured that the late fee would NOT be waived but providing I made the escalated MANDATORY payment of $224 (normal one was $66.)...they promised they would then adjust it back down to 10.2%...

Upon rec. this months statement, they have not done as promised and I spoke to numerous people that refused any of this was discussed AND say I rec'd a letter (which I did not) asking for enrollment by june 30 if I enroll then will get a 23.% rate NOW and with 12 mos. of excellent pay history it could reduce to 10.5%?...WHAT is this...

DEAL or NO DEAL????? We NEED to sue...please help me... get started
