I went to Wal-Mart on Sunday around 7PM and the store was in chaos. It was a tax free day so there were a lot of customers. They have fewer register open and each register has about 10 customers in line. The front of the store was all block by customers in shopping carts and waiting to check out. You can not pass through the store with a cart very easily. I have to maneuver through cramped racks of cloths. I think Wal-Mart is cutting the number of employees to save money. Their customer service is going down the drain. They should anticipate the large volume of customer and should provide extra help to accommodate. This reminds me of the old K-Mart. That is why there went out of business back in the 90’s and closed all their stores in Houston.
