I was given a monthly lease rate for a certain brand new 2006 Explorer limited vehicle, gave a deposit and signed the papers yesterday, tonight at 6:00 pm the sales representative called to tell me that ooops just realized there has been a mistake, the car is a DEMO and has 6700 miles on it! I have two options neither of which is the deal we signed yesterday. I can pay $24/month more on my already high monthly payments in order to get the car with no miles OR if I want the demo with 6700 miles, that is fine but I now have 17, 300 miles allowed, no longer 24, 000 miles allowed! Also, my $1600 deposit already went to the bank today and I could pay for a stop payment if I want my deposit back sooner! Never in my life have I been so angry.
