I purchase whirlpool front loading washer and dryer in 2006. after using them for almost 4 years and 4 months washer went bad. i called manufacturer, they referred me to a local dealer. believe or not dealer was asking me $600 dollar to repair it, while i could purchase with that money new washer machine. parts were covered under lifetime warranty, and i request the whirlpool to issue some credit t word of purchasing of new machine, they refused and instead they send me the parts which costs them about $400. i will never buy another whirlpool machine, and i advise other people to stay away from whirlpool washer and dryer. really bad customer service, bad quality, bad brand.
