Abusive and harassing phone calls
Because of an emergency I fell behind on my credit card payment. I was 10 days behind, told the company what date I was going to pay, the date my Social Security payment arrives. They did not listen and laughed and told me they would call me every day. They called me every day at 8:30 am and at 5:30 pm Mon - Sun. Each time I told them again what date I would pay. It didn’t matter, they told me they would call every day. The harassment would not end. I am a long time customer having had a second mortgage and loan at separate time. If you are a good customer and fall into hard times, don't think WF will work with you. Don't get a card from them. If you have one get rid of it.

Terrible experience
I have an auto loan with Wells Fargo. The payment was due on May 28th. Starting on Saturday, May 31st Wells Fargo attempted to reach me. They left a message only to try to call again that day 2 more times. Then they called on SUNDAY twice. (Don't these people go to church or have any morals???!!!) When I asked why they are calling me so much when I am not even 10 days late, the response was they are calling me as a 'courtesy'. I responded with courtesy is one thing, what you all are doing is harassing (Harass in the dictionary is defined as 'to bother or torment repeatedly and persistently').
The rep began to talk to me as if I was in collections with an outside collection agency. She was being very rude and condescending. She got me so upset that I asked to speak to her supervisor and she was just as rude as the rep. My spouse had to get on the phone since they got me so upset. I am not one that is easily hurt.
I used to do credit/collections for American Express and if I would have treated a customer the way the reps at Wells Fargo were treating me, I would have been out on the street looking for another job. I guess that is why AMEX won the J.D. Power and Associates award for best customer service. Wells Fargo has a long way to go to meet the minimum standard of excellent service.
This is my first time with Wells Fargo and based on what I am already experiencing, it will be my last time with them. I am a good honest person that fulfills debt obligations (99% on time or before the due date). I just hit a rough patch this month and will be out of it shortly. Banks and creditors need to be a bit more willing to work with someone rather than against them. The way Wells Fargo is approaching me is like I am a deadbeat that doesn't pay their bills.
Since it seems like it is ok for the employees of Wells Fargo to talk to customers like this, it merely demonstrates to me the type of leaders that are running the company. For anyone that is considering talking a loan with Wells Fargo should think twice. Run as fast as you can!

listen to this...
i use to work at wf..let me tell ya, wfaf is a flippin joke even to work for. they want reps telling customers to go have yard sales..sale one of your tv's, sale your recliner..even if they're just a couple days past th due date. they give you a 10 day grace on adding late charges(sometimes) but not the calls. ive seem accts be called well over 50 times from fri-mon and they were still within the 10 days. and the cpi is a flippin scam if ive ever seen one. you have to have full coverage ins on the loan before you can even drive it off the lot..and still for some reason they turn around and say they dont have the ins info..well wtf happened to it? then have you fax ins info to a foney fax line that gets picked up by the trash guy and shredded...ive seen it. seriously we've called for people that are dead and start asking family members for pmts..its not their loan..the loan holder is dead and no co signer on the acct..still asking family to pay it...look the person is dead..they could give 2 shits about their credit or car anymore...

Scam and cheating
KS are federally regulated to protect both themselves and its customers. However, in Nevada, some bankers find it extremely hard to follow these regulations and make their bonuses every quarter. In order to receive their incentives, they bend the rules so they can get their bonuses and their customers suffer the consequences. How do I know this? I am a former employee of the company and was personally affected by this misconduct.
The 'trick' is simple, a customer comes into the bank to get a statement, inquire about an account or activate a debit card, the banker looks at the customer profile, immediately notices that the customer has been pre-approved for a line of credit so he/she decides that Mr. Customer needs it and submits an application without even informing the customer.
That alone violates many regulations, first the customer must always be aware of any credit applications submitted on his/her name, second, rates and disclosures have to be presented to the customer before summiting the application, and last but not least, the customer has to give authorization to have his/her credit report pulled.
Other great way bankers satisfy their loan requirements every week is with the famous solicitation calls. This happens on Thursdays from 5:00pm to 7:00pm when bankers are required to stay after work to make outbound calls to existing customers to offer products and services they may need. A person or two at my old bank had a great technique to get customers to apply: they call the customer, introduce themselves and offer to mail information about a line of credit, if the customer agrees to receive that information the banker automatically submits an application, if the customer gets approved the line of credit is open and will remain open at a zero balance indefinitely, if it gets denied, it will be hard for that customer to know that an application was submitted (unless they check their credit reports). Usually bankers have a way to avoid denial letters, so the customer never finds out.
What about signatures? No problem, not need it for a personal line of credit since is a revolving trade (just like a credit card) only installment loans require closing signatures. This issue is only the surface of many unethical things some bankers do. I invite people to check their credit reports and see if there are any unauthorized inquiries from Wells Fargo. If you don't want to go through the hassle of getting that report call a local office and inquire what accounts you have open with the bank or if there are any credit applications entered for you in the past (they will only go back 30 days on that, so getting the copy of your credit report is best). If there are any lines of credit, credit cards or accounts you didn't know about, report that branch. Credit is a serious issue and bankers need to respect the customer's decision to obtain it or not.

Payment abuse
I have always paid my mortgage on time. I received a letter of foreclosure for payments that I have made but Wells Fargo can't or won't bother to look for them.
I have made 3 mortgage payments over the phone. I have confirmation #'s for all of them plus bank statements and tracing # that show this money went to them. I have tried to talk with people over the phone but you never get the same person. It finally got so bad with the harassment that I had a panic attack and wound up in the emergency room. I was told to send a Hardship letter with household information. This I did. Faxing 7 pages of info. I received a letter stating that it was received and that I would have to wait 30 days for their decision of loan modification or refinance.
So far I now have a foreclosure notice from their lawyer Harmon Law Offices. My house is due to go up for auction July 11, 2008.
Is there anyone out there that can give me any advice on how to get through this nightmare of red tape?

Overcharged!
I was being overdrawn by passing a check from my account for my house rent. While i was being overdrawn they have charge me $34 for each transaction i have completed with my atm. The total overdraft fees is over $700! So this week i found out that have lost my income tax return and my whole week paycheck is being used to cover up the overdraft.they have charge $34 for even $0.99. I need to find what i can do for this problem. I contacted a personal banker but he said to me that those fees are non refundable. I know those are refundable coz they have authority to do that.i think this is very dishonest and disrespectful for account holders. In my case i was just being 6 months in usa and i am under 21 so i have to pay like $60 for income tax every week and i currently have one job and i am helping my family a lot!

WE LOST OUR HOME!!
We lost our home due to my illness. We tried to contact the CEO and even sent him a letter along with pictures my daughters had drawn of our home.. They wanted to do a forebearance but who can come up with all the back payments.. We were told we couldn't afford it anymore. To make a long story short I would not suggest this company as a mortgage provider. We are down to one income and they wouldn't lower the payments for us to stay.. To all of you who are losing your homes I pray you have the strenghth to get through it and when you have exausted all your options and they still won't help you keep your home.. Walk away knowing you did all you could to save your home...

Disaster
I have an adjustable mortgage. The value of my home has dropped 27% based on comparable properties in my tract. Wells Fargo/ASC has claimed to work with me but they just yank your chain. My rate is now at 9.95% and we cannot continue to do this. It seems to me that with all the losses the banks should be willing to work with homeowners, adjust their rate and market value and get them back on the right track, instead of ripping their houses out from under them. My credit used to be above average and now I have less than 500. This doesn't just affect me, it has affected my marriage and my 13 year old twins. Where are the answers?? And yes, I have to file bankruptcy.

checking acct.
I have been trying without success to find out how much money I can put in my mothers account due to bounced checks. She is 83 years old and deaf so I make her phone calls. She is on social security and this the only money she has. This has been going on for two months. Well's Fargo doesn't mind sucking money out of elderly peoples accounts which in my mothers case close to $100.00 but not willing to help out after the fact. When I called I requested the manager after the regular person couldn't help. The manager was rude and I was told no one could assist me. I asked for the person above her whom my sister and myself have talked with in the past and she said no one was above her.I have all of my Mothers information but they would'nt listen. I am not trying to take money out of the account I am trying to put money in!!! Thanks, LaVonia

Auto Loan Pay-off Quote Rip-off
Our first dealings with Wells Fargo Auto began in 2003 when my husband's truck loan was sold to WF from Capital One. So we had no choice but to deal with them at a 16.9% interest rate. For 3 years, we paid on time, every month, and decided to try to refinance for a better interest rate. Went through the whole loan process with them, only to be told "you don't qualify for a loan with us" ??@@!!?? HELLO! We have a loan with you!!! They just didn't want to drop the interest rate. Any way, paid for one more year and in 2006, they decided we were worthy and refinanced for 16.25% interest rate. Woohoo...whoopdie do... We paid on that for several months, than traded the truck in on a new vehicle with a different lender. Used that lender for 3 months, than WF local branch called and called repeatedly telling us they could get us a better loan. We tried with them several times in the past only to be told we didn't qualify, but were stupid again and tried. Well, they gave us a loan all right at 16.25% and talked us into $4000 more than we owed in the first place and again, we are stupid and took it. We paid on the car for a year, and in 2007, got an offer from Wachovia to do the loan with a 11.5% interest rate. So we jumped at it!! Wachovia did it for just what was owed and didn't try to ever make us take more. They sent a pay-0ff request on 9-5, sent a check overnight on 9-6, and WF waited until 9/10 to apply the funds, leaving a $74 balance on the loan. I called Wachovia to tell them this, seeing as WF would not release the title to Wachovia until zer balance, and the rep at Wachovia called WF right then on a 3-way call. She told the girl we spoke to (who acted dumber than a box of rocks) that she had a signature and time someone at WF signed for the check on the 6th, and that the quote was valid. Please remove the balance and send the title. The girl put us on hold, than came back and said that WF erroneously applied the funds and she would talk to her "supervisor" and this would be taken care of in the next 10 business days. She gave a name and phone # to call back and verify. In 10 days, I checked online, and nothing had been done, so I called the number, ... and guess what...it just rang and rang. I called Wachovia back for some help, and the rep I dealt with before called again, and asked for the Mamanger. The lady said she couldn't get the manager, but gave us to her "supervisor". The supervisor told us she would have to look into it and gave us a phone number to call back. In the meantime, I am getting a paper bill that says I have a past due principle balance of $74 and than adding another $74 to that for a total of $148 due. Somehow, $74 was credited back, but it still showed a $74 balance. And guess what??!! They have reported it on both mine and my husband's credit report! We are meticulous about paying our bills on time, and feel we have no recourse to get this resolved. We call and call and are told repeatedly that it have to go higher up, and repeatedly have to explain the situation like there are no notes being kept. It's so frustrating that no one will help us there! And my question is, if we ever pay off the loan with Wachovia, how will we ever get our title free and clear? My husband absolutely refuses to pay WF for the principle of it all, but I am so tempted just to pay the damn money to get rid of them in our lives!!!
