I bought a corner couchsofa from Weylandt Fourways last year October. The sofa arrived 8 wks later. On inspection, I noticed that the sofa and the daybed were not joining together properly ( the seams were not joining up) and that the there was a colour difference. Weylandt Warehouse manager came to inspect and a new couch was ordered. A few wks later, a new couch was delivered. The same problem was noted and I spoke to the saleslady at Fourways branch. This was all during the Dec holidays so there was a break in complaint returning callsemails etc. By Jan, I had still not heard from anyone re the couch story so called and emailed the relevant people, only to be told that the complaint was now INVALID and that it was left too long. After causing a huge fuss, I eventually spoke to their Customer Service Dept who directed my complain to the manufacturers, Just Sofas. They have responded (after I sent them photos showing the default) saying that this is how they make them and that they were approved by Chris Weylandt and that they make hundreds of these couches and have never received a complaint. It's beyond me how they can justify a R20 000 couch by saying this is how it is...
