Purchased Whirlpool Gold ($2500) refrigerator end of April. model FI7FVCXWYO. $2500) Since the day it arrived The ices that comes out of the ice maker comes out wet (obviously the ice maker is not holding temp). Goes to the ice holder and then turns into a solid mass of ice. now because of that you cannot use the ice dispenser.Called Lowes and they will not give me a new fridge. I personally needed to contact the whirlpool 800 to schedule a repair person to come in. come to find out these people are the same that fixes Sears appliances, A&E. Which I dealt with them for years and never fixed the fridge I just got rid of. Any how I called for an appointment had to wait about 5 days as I will not take time of from work.

First visit the repair guy said all it needed is :"vaseline" on the gasket that connects to the ice maker (yeah right. Of course that did not work.) Called the hot line again schedule another appointment ...this time they did not even bother coming in as supposedly there is a bunch of parts they will be ordering and maililng to us for a recall in place that should correct my problem . That will be done tomorrow June 5 Lets see what happens...(by the way I had to wait TWO weeks to get tomorrow appointment).
