I had purchased a Whirlpool window AC about 8 months ago from a dealer in Patna. It's compressor carries a 5 year warranty. The AC suddenly stopped functioning about 15 days ago. I registered a complain with the company's customer service center (no-PT0511005703, dt-19.05.11). I was assured that the technician would visit within 24 hrs after repeated reminders to the call center the technician visited after 3 days but all he did was detect a faulty compressor and assure a quick replacement but he actually went back and sent a false closer report to the company. I waited for a few days and contacted the customer service again I was made to re- register the complain and was assured immediate action (no-PT 0511006856, dt-23.05.11). I'm still waiting for some assistance.I'm highly disappointed with the after sale service of Whirlpool products and will never purchase any of it's products nor will I ever recommend it to others.
