Refund Credit
On February 26 2010 I purchased and installed anti-virus software from WideWorld Soft Baku. An hour or so later, I tried to remove the software, but was unable to. I then set my system restore point to the day before installing the software (February 25, 2010), and this seemed to work. I called the phone numbers that others had tried to get a refund, but with no luck. I then contacted my bank, and the gave me this phone number 1-800-469-9689. I talked to a man in England, who gave me a confirmation number for a refund credit that he said would take about 5-10 business days. I just checked with my bank, and a refund credit for $69.95USD was applied to my credit card.
The reason I waited until now to post this, was to verify if my credit refund would happen. I hope this will help others who have had similar issues with this company and their software.

Software useless and extortionate charge that I did not agree to
On 16th Feb 2010 I switched on my laptop to greet error messages saying Trojan worms and worse had invaded my computer and if I didn't purchase their software I would lose all hard drive data etc. I tried to run my own virus software, but it couldn't progress. So agreed, the price was supposed to be $48.95 USD but was billed $99.85 USD.
I will try to ring them and get a refund.
Another lesson learnt.
