I WANT MY PACKAGE FROM ENGLAND TOBE IN MY HAND AND WHY THE COMPANY WANTS ME TO PAY ADDITIONAL CHARGE FOR THE PACKAGE?

My bf send me a trunk box from England, then the Malaysian world wide courier service hold my package and they said i need to pay the charges of 250$ to bring the package here in the Philippines.And i Paid it and i send to their company address the said money and they said ill received it by Monday but on by Monday they send me again a message for the additional charges which i did not paid.I was confused why the service of the Malaysian World wide Courier cargo is like that? Until now the package was not come here in my home and my bf said he already paid the charges of the package. My bf is very busy person he is from England and he is now at Spain for business proposal, he ask me to follow up the package but until now i did not received.The items in side the trunk are ring, watch, family album, cloths, teddy bear, hp lop top, digital camera and the money he confirm that at the receipt.
