I went on to a 3 days and 2 nights trip in Daytona Beach on 11/6~8 with the offer from Worldwide Travel Center which I paid a refundable $50 as the deposit for the hotel. By now I still haven't received any refund from the company so I called them today. The representitive told me that WWTC has gone out of business and that her company only took over the phone number thus could not provide the refund. Then she all of a sudden started to speak really fast and tried to quickly end the conversation when I told her to hold on as I had more questions. I asked for her company name and relationship with WWTC which she told me that her company Trips Incentive has no business relationship with WWTC whatsoever. I then asked for her name and told her that I will quote her name and what she had told me over the phone in any future references that are needed. She then told me, with her Indian accent, that her name was Jamie Harris, and then hung up on me. I don't think I can ever get my $50 back. But compared to a lot of other complaints I read here, I guess I at least did get the hotel stay, just not for free as WWTC advertised. If there is going to be a countermeasure in any format against this company's practice, I would definitely provide my support, so hopefully no more people seeking for relaxation gets frustration instead.
