It is a big scam. I was searching for a service manual for a small kitchen appliance through a popular search engine. The search led me to www.pdfdowloads.com, listing the document I was looking for. Then this link led me to www.download-zzz and then it got worse.

To download the file, you have to register and pay a membership. I have no problem with that, as long as I get value for what I pay.

There was a three day trial for $1.95USD I selected that one. I happened to check my visa account 5 days later and saw a charge of $82.00USD charged by Realgoldsoft, Baku AZ. ...a different name so you do not notice the charge by download-zzz. as quickly as you would like. I think it is by design!

On top of that the membership never worked, the file was not available, the customer service support person was totally helpless, likely part of the scam. Big long period of silence, sounded totally spaced out, extremely poor comunicator and he hung up on me. Stay away from this site and pass the word around.
