I purchased one set of of GHD's from this 'reliable' website, as I thought 50 pounds was a bargain. After I had inserted my debit card details with a company called 'Payease' I later then found out this company was based in China. After many hours of further research and phonecalls, the conclusion I came to was that this was a SCAM. I have a bank account with Barclays, and after I rang them on their 24 hour emergency service, they informed me that this GHD company had tried to take 2 payments out my account. They have advised me not to cancel my account or change my details, as they would like to take further investigation. I should have been expecting the straighteners in little more than a week, but if they do arrive they will either be fake or dangerous, but if they don't arrive within 30 days I have been told Barclays will try to refund my money. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE AS I DID! AlLWAYS research the company you are buying from, and ALWAYS look at reviews and complaints. Remember, if the price seems to good to be true, then it probably is!
